Prayer Requests 3-23-24

Anyone have something to share?

“The one concern of the devil is to keep Christians from praying. He fears nothing from prayerless studies, prayerless work, and prayerless religion. He laughs at our toil, mocks at our wisdom, but trembles when we pray.” – Samuel Chadwick

  1. Amen!

So much to cover in prayer here.

Granddaughter is in Jamaica over Spring break with her class at Colorado Christian Univ. They are ministering alongside the deaf. They are in a compound and being locked inside their rooms at night. She is fine but her Mama and I are fervently praying for protection as she ministers and trusts in Him.

A young man I have been close to since his birth ..he is 35…is fighting for his life at John Hopkins. Blood clots and collapsed lung. He does not walk with our Lord…

One of my dearest friends may be near the end of her journey with Parkinson’s…she is strong in her walk with the Saviour…

  2. I have been working so hard on these applications. This morning God convicted me of my lack of prayer. I need to be praying for each one. This is not just a chore but a privilege from Him

  3. I have been fighting anxiety as son is in travel mode. You would think that mamas and papas could grow out of anxiety once the children are grown . . .

Praying with you, NJ! Also praying for grandchildren of my Bible study ladies who are traveling in international areas and in the states.

Jo, that was a good conviction from the Lord. It is so nice when He does that. A lady in my Bible study group says about those convictions, ” I got a whoopin’ from the Lord.” Of course it is never literal, but the feeling is humbling.

  4. Boy has been sick for a few days now. At first, we thought it was just a bad cold, although it included a fever for a little while. But even today, the fourth day, he still is not feeling well, and has very little appetite. (Very unusual for him.) Please pray for him to recover quickly, and be well enough for school on Monday. (He was out the last three days of this past week. :-( ) Thank you.

  5. Boy isn’t feeling all the way better, but he did eat more today, Nightingale is sending him back to school tomorrow. Please pray that he will not put up a fuss for her in the morning, and also that it won’t be too stressful for him. Thank you.

  6. Another failure on the colonoscopy threat. Each time it gets worse. The silver lining is we don’t have to go out in the nasty weather.
