  7. But Trump…..

    From the Meriam-Webster dictionary….

“work involving murder or assassination —used euphemistically… the intelligence service became infamous as a subcontractor for the K.G.B. and earned a grim reputation for its particular expertise in “wet work,” the assassination of enemies.—Andrew Higgins, New York Times, 25 Dec. 2013″

  9. This is the Never Trump mindset. Screw the party and country just to get a shot at Trump. It’s pathetic, childish, and exactly what I’ve come to expect from these unprincipled traitors.

“Real America’s Voice @BenBergquam Is Detained & Handcuffed In The Back Of Border Patrol For Filming The Illegal Immigrant Invasion

Fellow reporters “Brought out of the car at gunpoint with handcuffs”

60- 70 illegal migrants walk around free as reporters are detained for documenting what’s happening at the border

“So I’m actually in the back of a border patrol car right now. As we’re coming back filming the invasion of our country, we’re actually stopped by border patrol and law enforcement. They’re bringing each one of us out of the vehicle with our hands above our head and behind our backs, guns drawn like we’re criminals while Washington DC is supporting the cartels. And all while this is happening, we’ve got 60 illegals just standing by the wall. No problem.

They can walk on in. Brandon just got added into this vehicle. The tip we’re down there to get it. And now he’s actually in handcuffs. Brought out of the car at gunpoint with handcuffs.

While our country’s being invaded, we’re down here exposing the invasion. They’re more worried about us than they were are about the 60 guys that are back behind us. That they’re just letting stay here. We are sitting in a patrol car. We got Harry in another one.

We got Jack in another one and and, uh, Ben in the other one. This is insane. We’ve got 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 units out here dealing with us that are just exposing what Joe Biden’s doing. They don’t care about them, they care about us. Unbelievable, guys.

God bless law enforcement, but let’s go Brandon. This guy’s gotta go. This whole administration. Bad boys. What you gonna do?”

I can’t transcribe it all due to X’s text limits but this is absolutely insane. This is Biden’s America”

  16. I know Biden’s economic record won’t make any of those here vote for him but its fairly impressive and goes against conventional wisdom. The following article not only tells the success but also outlines how the Obama-Clinton faction of the party did not support Biden’s economic policy. For those on the left, Obama’s presidency was a disappointment as he adhered to the Clinton playbook. Biden (whom I always liked) is an old school democrat – pro-labour yet conservative foreign policy. Any way I found it interesting;

  17. I really need to learn to leave my initials – HRW; yeah I’m responsible for the slate article

I imagine the Republicans didn’t shut down the government because shutdowns almost lead to a decline in poll numbers for those who shut down the gov’t. Plus Biden’s budgets have spent fairly evenly across the country so much so even Greene was taking credit for spending in her district that she voted against last year. Why shut down a government when it spends money in your district.

But 400K for trans clothing is awfully specific. I can’t help but think its 400K for an organisation that provides trans clothing among other things. Bit misleading.

Not sure how congressional votes on a budget affects Trump. And should Republicans representatives be voting based on how it affects Trump or how it affects Americans?

  18. The Republican party will eat itself. Buck is no moderate. Gallagher is no traitor – he’s an Iraq war veteran. I quickly read their bios. They are conservative. Their resignations and the method which they left the Congress should be telling. Besides Gallagher saved the gov’t money by resigning on April 19 and sparing the expense of a special election.

Its not a conspiracy nor does Never Trumpers need to conspire, the odds favor a Democratic takeover of the House. The Senate though is up for grabs.

  19. McDaniel joining MSNBC should not be a surprise. The transition from political insider to pundit is fairly painless. Partly in response to the Dominion lawsuit, networks are hiring opposing political viewpoints. It helps protect them against libel suits. McDaniel was probably offered more money by MSNBC than by FOX. She’s far more valuable to the former.

Of course the border patrol seeks to limit media oversight. That’s standard operating procedure for any law enforcement. This is nothing new, don’t blame Biden.Blame those who support the blue line and lack of oversight for last few decades.

Like wise, title fraud is nothing new. Its not a Biden problem. Its been fairly common in the Anglo American world for at least two or three decades. In the UK, my friend waited til the fraudulent squatter left the house (originally my friend’s parent’s), broke in, changed the locks and then paid people to occupy the residence. This probably wouldn’t work in Canada or the US but the point is simple — Biden isn’t responsible for the problem, English common law and semi incompetent lawyers are.

  21. This is another article for never trumpers. I will here confess that my angst a few weeks ago regarding the Tangle and my email was wrong. It’s not a particularly great source, but at least they didn’t flood my inbox. Oh that the same could be said for Epoch Times….

This article from the Tangle is written by a transgender doctor from the perspective of an Objectivist (Ayn Rand) “conservative” position. Sorry, but I had to use air quotes on conservative because I’m hard pressed to see the conservatism in his position—references to God, family, country notwithstanding. But he does sound much more level-headed than most who write on the subject and does not seem to deny that gender dysphoria is a disorder if not a mental illness per se.

I suspect these kind of articles, along with the one above written by David French, make it easier for social conservatives to assuage their consciences by voting for a third party or for Biden. I have sometimes fallen for the same tactics. Without extensive praying, I’m afraid there is no hope of not falling into a ditch on one side or the other.
