  1. Happy Birthday, R Kessler! I hope it turns out to be an extra special day full of delightful surprises and fun with your family and friends. It’s Friday and that is often considered one of the best days of the week for starters to a great day!

  2. Morning!!! Happy Birthday RK!!❣️🎂❣️

Another Spring day here and for once I have the house to myself for a couple hours! I am downright giddy…music cranked up and I’ll be cleaning like a mad woman!!!💃

  3. Planted vegetable seeds yesterday! It’s supposed to start raining today.

We’ve got humps in the front yard from all the new topsoil my husband had delivered last week (and which we spent four hard days moving!)

The plan is the rain will dampen it down and then we’ll spread the weed barrier.

That means I’d better have the planting guide figured out by Monday . . . yikes!

Otherwise, an “empty” day with more than enough mental and physical chores to fill it with!

God is good. I am thankful. I’m also avoiding the news. 🙂

  4. Top soil. We are still dealing with poison hemlock that came in with some top soil we got for the new drain field fourteen years ago. Thought we had it all beaten down only to have it crop up again in new areas.

  5. Persistent, Mumsee. That is not good. I have been lopping off a woody vine that wants to overtake the plants by our mail box. It has a lovely green color, but it is a bully plant. I guess I could name it Medusa because it seems to sprout three more when I cut it. I can’t dig it out because that would kill the plants I want.

  6. house cleaned and stayed that way for whole hour! I drove to the store for something I forgot yesterday. Came home 45 minutes later and husband had poached eggs. House stinks and the kitchen not clean as when I left. Now I’m just a mad woman😂 nj

  7. 3 cheers for me, I finally got all my tax info emailed over! I’m late this year, I aim for getting that done in early-to-mid March but this year has been so hectic on so many fronts for me. I was shocked when I realized only about 1-2 weeks ago that next month is the TAX DEADLINE? How could that be?? (Janice laughs).

I was so sorry to see the news about Kate Middleton. Their family has really been hit hard this past year. Being a king or princess apparently doesn’t doesn’t make one immune to the things we’re all susceptible too, from tragic childhood losses to family disputes to serious medical conditions. Praying this can be treated successfully; I keep thinking of those beautiful children she and William have.
