  1. Good morning. I would love to have snow. We have patches, but very few. Snow covers a whole lot of shades of gray. It also insulates the ground. Who would think of such a remarkable thing to create, but a remarkable Creator?

  2. Beautiful fox.

We’ll be getting rain again Saturday but not a lot from the sounds of it. Much more rain and snow (a lot of it possibly) north of us with this storm.

I really hope we don’t sink into another drought cycle and that this rain keeps coming.

But God knows and we’ll deal with what comes.

  3. Good lunch time (i hope).

Art took me to Sprouts around 7:30 and the nice lady at the register found a five dollar coupon to apply to my big haul. Grateful!

I am way off schedule and need to get on with my Bible study.

Art brought home two finished returns that I need to get to people I know through church. They get discounted rates😀

  4. Daylight Savings Time is next weekend? (3/10) That came fast. While I don’t like “losing” an hour of sleep, ever; and this time change throws me off for a while more than the other one; I do welcome some more daylight after work.

But it’s also a little harder to naturally wake up at my usual time (7-7:30) until I can adjust.

  5. hmmm…that fox has the “cat that ate the canary” smile on it’s face!! Wonder what was swallowed?!! Beautiful capture there Aj!!

Purchased a dryer…will be delivered next Tuesday. I still remember Mom’s clothes line in the backyard…those were the days!!!

Our snow is melting but there is still much covering the land. Some weather guy suggested we will be seeing more on Sunday, then again Thursday. We have temps in the 50’s today!

  6. My brother still uses the clothes line my mother used at my parent’s last house. I had much experience with hanging and gathering things from the line at the first house. We had a clothespin bag my mother made that hung on the line from a coathanger. Fun memories. Remember the jeans strechers to put in the legs to help them dry thoroughly?

  7. My clothesline suffered a non recoverable incident when son no longer in law fell on it when he slid off the roof. For Christmas he gave me several coils of clothesline. I will figure something out. But today it is snowing.

  8. I grew up with a clothes line in the backyard too — I don’t have one now but like to dry a number of things outside, so I have drying racks I can use on the patio.

  9. We have slightly warmer temps now, but, oh that wind! It’s just a howling, which then results in really cold windchills.

We dry our clothes on racks in the house – it’s great in winter as it adds some humidity to the very dry house. In summer we mostly dry inside because of all the pollen, but sometimes we take a rack outside for stuff.

We deal with TG issues at camp. It is tough, but they need Jesus too. We do insist on biological with same biological in cabins and we train our staff how to work with these kids as they are so broken and need God so badly.

  10. My dad made me a clothesline by welding big pipes together. He drove the hour north to our house shortly after we built the house to put it in the ground. I have used it every summer for something. Normally, however, I use the dryer since we both have allergy issues. I do love the smell of clothes that have dried outside.

A funny story about the clothesline is about the time I had bought my daughter a new swimsuit. It was hung on the line and then disappeared. It was not until years later that my neighbor across the road talked about the dog, they had, that always brought home items from all over the neighborhood. It solved that mystery.

  11. An early good morning to all. We may have record highs today. Fire danger is already here. We may get some rain, snow and thunder on Sunday, however. Crazy.
