Leaders are leaders, whether in politics or media or another area, such as teachers. I don’t think we can say the mass of people are on board for many of the cultural shifts taking place today. Nor do I think we can let politicians off the hook for influencing the culture in a better direction. How to do that is a big discussion and surely varies with the constituent base.
It would be an interesting study — probably not now as we’re too close to it all — to look at all the cultural changes and currents that have taken place, probably one of the biggest being caused by the tech and social media revolution which is still unfolding.
I often think how I’d love to read a history book from about 50-100 years into the future. It’s hard when we’re in the midst of these swirling currents to get a good look at what they all mean, how they began and grew and what impacts they wound up having on all spheres, including politics.
All very complicated and complex, but we are living in an interesting — and often confused — age, that even that is nothing new under the sun.
Turns out when they have to pay a price for their stupid policies, reality sets in….

You think you’re fighting “liberals” but you’re actually fighting death-worshipping demons and you’d fight differently if you just accepted that’s what they are.
Nothing will shame these people into changing. Nothing. You must defeat them. https://t.co/sZGYK7MoLl
In less than a week, there have been 4 vicious attacks against innocent young Americans, all committed by illegal immigrants. We are sickened by these tragedies and praying for the victims and their families.
BREAKING: Local media in DC reporting a Salvadoran illegal alien has been arrested in connection w/ the murder of a 2-year-old child on Feb. 8th. How many more states does she have to lose badly in for her to finally drop out? The money is starting to dry up for Nikki Haley. I predict she will drop out shortly.

Watch the video. Once again Dems and their pro-invader policies have blood on their hands. They had repeated opportunities to rid the country of a criminal, yet actively thwarted efforts to do so, and now a 2 year old is dead as a result. Disgusting.
“Gut-Wrenching”: @AlexandriaHoff on the murder of a 2-year-old boy by a Salvadoran illegal alien with a criminal record:
~ On a Fox News panel after the South Carolina primary, (Ari) Fleischer, a contributor on the network and a media consultant, said, “I’ve been around a lot of these candidate speeches, I’ve written a few. That was a ‘No Labels’ speech tonight by Nikki Haley. That was a speech, when she says, ‘No matter what I am running.’ When she trashes Joe Biden, trashes Donald Trump, she is setting herself up to run down the middle.”
Fleischer continued: “But when you look at independent voters, she sees a huge group out there. And when you look at the country, independent voters are 43 percent of the country, Republicans are 27 percent, Democrats are 27 percent.” ~
And won’t running on an Independent ticket make her a liar?
Yep. This was 2 days ago.
“I’m a Republican. I have not talked to any other organization. I have not put a second of thought into an independent run because I’m a Republican. That’s what I’ve always been,” Haley
~ Haley’s determination to stay in the race probably won’t lead to her being president one day. But if the GOP is ever going to have a traditional conservative as a standard-bearer again, it will be because she helped preserve a safe space for them within the party. ~

But don’t call them layoffs…”

Historically in this country, the first things built in a new town: church, bar, school. We are not there anymore.

She’s more likely to take D votes from Biden. Other than NTers, Rs see her for the fraud she is.
She scored half her votes in her home state due to it being an open primary where Dems could vote in an R primary. It’s smoke and mirrors.
And if she runs on the No Labels scam, one candidate from each party, is she the R or the D?

So it’s one of 2 things. She’s a liar, or it’s all just wishful thinking by clueless pundits.

She would bring in many who are disaffected Republicans now that the party belongs to Trump — along with centrist independents.
Neither Trump nor Biden are very popular with a huge swath of voters. -dj
