We’re having basketball weekend. Last night, Adorable #1 scored 16 points (+2 more illegally removed) and had 19 rebounds to lead his team to the league victory.
On to the next level at home on Wednesday night.
Today, Adorable #1, his UCLA alumni parents, and I will attend the UCLA-CAL basketball game (assuming my relatives gets us the promised tickets), where we’ll be sitting behind the Bruin bench.
I’m digging out my blue and gold clothes as soon as the sun comes up! 🙂
Best part of all of this? He may be 6’8″ tall, but he’s a really nice young man.
I just hope I don’t have to share the back seat with him . . . 🙂
I always feel like a midget among those tall young men. How fun for you and your family, Michelle!
:) I, again, witnessed some real tender care from a caretaker at an assisted living facility. Thank God for the tenderness and patience he gives to some as they care for others. How I pray for that for myself!
Im hoping to see them in the tournament come March, and Im sure your family is as well. This is the time of year when college basketball becomes fun. 😀
