“Our praying, however, needs to be pressed and pursued with an energy that never tires, a persistency which will not be denied, and a courage which never fails.” – E. M. Bounds

Yesterday my husband’s group performed at a usual venue, an assisted living facility. The memory care facility brought some of their residents. Among them was a woman who has played music throughout the years in places where my husband has also. They have jammed together. Her daughter usually comes with her and sings along with her during the performance. She didn’t make it yesterday. Towards the very end, this woman seemed to be passed out. A nurse (a school friend of one of my daughters) was summoned, as well as the EMT’s and she was eventually brought out on a stretcher while the group performed their last song (which is always the same instrumental). Pray for Karen and her family. She is a believer, I believe, and may be ready to go home. Only the Lord knows.

Praying for AJ’s doc appt. Also, for AJ to regain strength to be able to enjoy church again. Recoveries seem to have ups and downs. I still a year after radiation feel there is a monthly cycle my body goes through trying to get back to normal. PT lady said 18 months which seemed unreasonable, but now I am a believer.

Yes, Janice, my husband took a long time and still has some issues from his radiation. It can be difficult to be patient.
