It’s Thursday, so please remember to pray for Jo and the people of PNG.
Anyone else have something to share?
Psalm 132
A song of ascents.
1 Lord, remember David
and all his self-denial.
2 He swore an oath to the Lord,
he made a vow to the Mighty One of Jacob:
3 “I will not enter my house
or go to my bed,
4 I will allow no sleep to my eyes
or slumber to my eyelids,
5 till I find a place for the Lord,
a dwelling for the Mighty One of Jacob.”
6 We heard it in Ephrathah,
we came upon it in the fields of Jaar:
7 “Let us go to his dwelling place,
let us worship at his footstool, saying,
8 ‘Arise, Lord, and come to your resting place,
you and the ark of your might.
9 May your priests be clothed with your righteousness;
may your faithful people sing for joy.’”
10 For the sake of your servant David,
do not reject your anointed one.
11 The Lord swore an oath to David,
a sure oath he will not revoke:
“One of your own descendants
I will place on your throne.
12 If your sons keep my covenant
and the statutes I teach them,
then their sons will sit
on your throne for ever and ever.”
13 For the Lord has chosen Zion,
he has desired it for his dwelling, saying,
14 “This is my resting place for ever and ever;
here I will sit enthroned, for I have desired it.
15 I will bless her with abundant provisions;
her poor I will satisfy with food.
16 I will clothe her priests with salvation,
and her faithful people will ever sing for joy.
17 “Here I will make a horn grow for David
and set up a lamp for my anointed one.
18 I will clothe his enemies with shame,
but his head will be adorned with a radiant crown.”
Thank you all for praying for my cousin and family. D died this morning peacefully. Heaven’s gain, our loss.

Alan Jackson’s Hymn album is one of my favorites.
I am also sorry to hear your sad news, Debra. Prayers for comfort and peace for all and the practical needs that come with losing someone. It sounds like he will leave quite a hole in the family. May his legacy continue to be a blessing.

I looked up that hymn because my friend with heart issues has a procedure soon and shd is very afraid of dying. That hymn gives me great comfort so I shared with her in hopes it will comfort her. You’ve prayed for K in the past so I ask again for prayer that she will survive and have more time to develop her faith in Jesus. Also please pray her family will turn to follow Jesus.

Yes, Kizzie, the same.
Father God,
I lift up Mumsee for healing and restoration of energy. She has been through so much this year trying to help so many. People have relied on her for many needs. She now has need of good rest, uninterupted sleep, and all the things that help people to heal. You know, Lord, exactly what she needs and I ask for You to supply it all. Please make those in her realm mindful of her situation and not take her for granted. Please heal her quickly, Lord. I also lift up her pastor who had the stroke. Please bring him to a good situation, too, Lord. Provide all the good care he needs and excellent medical staff, meds, and rehab if needed. I lift up Mike for blessings as he has his own sufferings. You see it all. Thank You for the opportunity here to get to know and care deeply for Mumsee. She has a great love for You, Abba, and all her Brothers and Sisters in Christ. She shares You and Your love wes ith many others. Please bring her Dad to full salvation in Jesus.
I lift this intercession in the precious name of Jesus, Amen

Prayers and condolences for your family, Debra, at the passing of your cousin.
Thank you for the past prayers for 2nd Arrow. She had safe travels to and from LB.
The unhinged woman at the studio a week ago left a flaming voicemail for the owners, but appears to have gone away now. Thanks for those prayers, too.
