  1. Good morning! Interesting photo with what I assume is a reflection?

The news ladies spoke of good seasonal deals on store credit cards. That reminded them of the old layaway buying programs. My family never did layaway. I was amazed back then how some people chose a whole wardrobe for a season and paid it down. We might get one item when we went to a store.

  2. Our daughter had her annual job review last week.

She’s in charge of the health and safety parts of Environmental, Health and Safety.

Her boss asked her what she was most proud of from her performance this year.

She smiled. “Teaching an employee CPR so he could save someone’s life last week.”

You never know how God will use your gifts, wins, and disappointments for good. 🙂

  3. Good morning, all. A beautiful day here. In the early forties expecting early fifties.

Son in law thought he had court today or tomorrow but has received no written notice or otherwise than the judge saying and confirming with her lawyer at the last hearing. He will go to Lewiston to check and to buy a couple of gifts for his daughter’s birthday.

Husband is off for a VFW presentation at a school.

That just leaves the four of us to hold down the fort.

  4. I always think those ducks are so beautiful. Amazing creator!

Jo mentioned creamed corn, so I will just comment that I always hated creamed corn. I never knew it was served without the cream until I married. I never bought creamed corn myself. How I miss the corn we used to grow, pick and prepare fresh! We have too many trees now to grow it anymore.

  5. Son will be picked up in half an hour for speech therapy. The ranks are thinning.

Son in law learned that the court forgot to send out the notice. Court will be via phone tomorrow. Glad he checked.

  6. The big fire at that apartment complex has two streets closed down. No one can enter because it may all collaspse. This was a place built only several years ago with small businesses on the bottom floor and apartments on the top three stories. Wow! So many people suffering because of firecrackers set off on the roof. I cannot fathom the guilt that fun-loving couple must be feeling.

  7. Walmart announced while I shopped that they will now make a better shopping experience for the sensory challenged people. Between 8 and 10 a.m. they will dim the lights and not have on the radio. Wondering if I could see to shop then?😀

  8. I would love the lower light feature Janice. I do not believe I have ever noticed music playing in Walmart though. Most likely all the screaming children are drowning it out! 😱

Bumped into two sweet friends in Hobby Lobby! Went across the road to Marshall’s and lo and behold one of the friends was in front of me in the checkout! I love when that happens!!
    Home now and exhausted!
