Prayer Requests 10-26-23

It’s Thursday, so please remember to pray for Jo and the people of PNG.

Anyone else have something to share

Psalm 101

Of David. A psalm.

I will sing of your love and justice;
    to you, Lord, I will sing praise.
I will be careful to lead a blameless life—
    when will you come to me?

   I will conduct the affairs of my house
    with a blameless heart.
I will not look with approval
    on anything that is vile.

   I hate what faithless people do;
    I will have no part in it.
The perverse of heart shall be far from me;
    I will have nothing to do with what is evil.

Whoever slanders their neighbor in secret,
    I will put to silence;
   whoever has haughty eyes and a proud heart,
    I will not tolerate.

My eyes will be on the faithful in the land,
    that they may dwell with me;
   the one whose walk is blameless
    will minister to me.

No one who practices deceit
    will dwell in my house;
   no one who speaks falsely
    will stand in my presence.

Every morning I will put to silence
    all the wicked in the land;
   I will cut off every evildoer
    from the city of the Lord.

  1. I thought I had posted yesterday about AJ’s news and Kizzie’s news but I don’t see my post today.

    I had posted that I am thankful AJ is getting a second opinion. May God guide and direct all the way through to His chosen healing process.

    So thankful that Boy got home for his birthday. Almost like a surprise birthday party at the last minute. PTL!
    Praying for salvation to grab hold of all of Kizzie’s family. Long-awaited Victory in Jesus over all!

  2. I like 2nd opinion options too. Even if a 2nd opinion is pretty much the same, the consultations with different doctors are all good information gathering opportunities. Praying also that the costs in AJ’s situation will be well covered by insurance.

    And joining in the praises for Boy’s homecoming and the plan in place going forward that should help bring more stability in what is a hard time of life and transition for everyone. -dj

  3. Thank you Dj, that’s something that could definitely use prayer too, the cost. Often it gets forgotten about in the big picture, but it is a concern.

    The costs continue to mount. We’ve paid out several thousand already, just got another bill for 1500 for April’s surgery, and still have the one 2 weeks ago yet to hit us. Then the next surgery I’m afraid to even guess at costs out of pocket for. It’s eating into the savings already.

    But God has a plan, he knows our finances, and I’m trying to just leave it at that.

    So prayer for that would be appreciated too.

    Thanks,
    Allen

  4. AJ, I am on an e-mail series from Cancer Treatment Centers of America. I had listened last week to a lady who has a book about her breast cancer journey. She got a second opinion and said that is covered by insurance. I did not realize it is covered. I would have gotten a second opinion from their group if needed. They have a team aporoach that includes faith which I really like. Of course, at my research hospital everything is a strictly scientific approach that puts God on the outer realm.

  5. Court is over, case dismissed. It the judge was very clear that he was not pleased with what he saw in the pictures. Because it was not clear that daughter actually handed him the knife ( probably her boyfriend) or exposed the children to the propane tanks, back to regular fifty fifty.

  6. Sad, mumsee.

    Please pray for Eliana. She is in 8th grade and being pursued online by a pedophile Muslim man. The sheriff is involved, but the guy is out of the country and just keeps changing his computer address, so to speak. She is now doubting being a Christian and who knows what. I don’t know them personally but know someone who does. The mother is asking for prayer.
