Psalm 97
1 The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad;
let the distant shores rejoice.
2 Clouds and thick darkness surround him;
righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.
3 Fire goes before him
and consumes his foes on every side.
4 His lightning lights up the world;
the earth sees and trembles.
5 The mountains melt like wax before the Lord,
before the Lord of all the earth.
6 The heavens proclaim his righteousness,
and all peoples see his glory.
7 All who worship images are put to shame,
those who boast in idols—
worship him, all you gods!
8 Zion hears and rejoices
and the villages of Judah are glad
because of your judgments, Lord.
9 For you, Lord, are the Most High over all the earth;
you are exalted far above all gods.
10 Let those who love the Lord hate evil,
for he guards the lives of his faithful ones
and delivers them from the hand of the wicked.
11 Light shines on the righteous
and joy on the upright in heart.
12 Rejoice in the Lord, you who are righteous,
and praise his holy name.
Prayer for twenty two who was absolutely bonkers yesterday. We really need to find a facility that will take her but I hate to take away her freedom. She really does have the potential for a very pleasant life but can’t see it. Prayer that her eyes will be open to what God has blessed her with rather than seeing all of her can’ts.

May the Lord be glorified in the funeral, in the hearts of the attenders, may eyes be opened to the Truth.

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for a beauriful Saturday!
Please help Mumsee’s charge to focus on her blessings and not keep looking down in the dumps. Please invade her heart and give her Your strength to rise to new heights of being. Infuse her with pure love for others and self. I pray You will give her freedom in Christ and through the truth that breaks bonds set in place by the deceiver. Please act in haste to give this remedy before motions are set in place to keep her in bondage for life. You are our able God. Please!
I also lift up Kizzie’s grandson, that You will make a new path forward for him. You know all about what ails him emotionally, mentally, and physically. Please put good counselors in his life. Please, may true Christians speak wisdom to him and give guidance and companionship. I pray he will not venture into some wilderness and get stuck there. You know all about him. You made him. Please quickly claim him as Your own for eternity.
Lord, please give unexpected blessings to Jo as she attends her brother’s funeral. May Your word be presented plainly and draw people to Jesus whether in the service or during time spent talking with relatives and friends. I pray Your peace will prevail and Jo will have a report of blessings she experienced as if returning from the mission field. Please let the Fruit of the Holy Spirit be on display at the funeral in all Christians present. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amrn

Please pray that my energy level will pick up. I feel so exhausted. I have not done my routine PT exercises the past few days. Maybe if I get back on track I will feel better. I have done the arm pulley at the door daily while my coffee brews so that combats frozen shoulder.

Janice – Give yourself some grace in this, too. It is not surprising to me that the mental and emotional strain of taking care of your brother is having that exhausting effect on you. That kind of thing often kicks in after the hard part is over.
I’m not saying don’t try to get back into your exercises, but maybe edge into them a little at a time. Or jump right in if you feel you can. Most of all, though, whatever you do, give yourself some grace and mercy to let yourself get the mental, emotional, and physical rest that you need.
God bless you, sister.
