I went to a wonderful Christian concrrt performed by the Jubalheirs, the ladies counterpart to the Sons of Jubal. About 140 ladies did the choral music alongside an orchestra of about 40 musicians. I only found out about it this week.
After the weeks my brother spent here when I did not play my Christian music cd’s so as to not disturb him, this concert was a heavenly blessing!
Good morning. We have a pretty free day for a change. There is only a retirement party for a neighbor who is also a relative, so we will go rejoice with those who rejoice.
Skipped. Mainly because of her attitude when told maybe not. She pouted for a while but then got busy with her camera. I did more research and confirmed the no go.
I’m doing online church today. I am still exhausted from living on adrenaline for those weeks. Also, it is family day at church and I have no one to attend with me since Art is doing catchup on his work. Thankful for online church, again!
Good morning, all. Online is done, in person is next. Twenty two invited husband to the potluck at her this week church, so we will take two cars. I can drive home after church and he can stay to potluck.
And because there is not enough drama in my life, God added some but just on the edges.
Made it home before dark last night from the funeral. Thanks to all who prayed.
Going things kept happening to hinder us or use up our time. Once we got together with everyone, it was all good.
The funeral was nice. And God used me in sweet ways. I had just the right fidget toys for the austic four year old
Got just a few minutes with youngest son. He said he isn’t popular in the family as he has left the church. Do you know how many years I have prayed for that to happen?!
Was very careful talking to my sister and it went well.
Blessed on the return with row ten and so much leg room it was amazing. I truly felt God’s special care

I keep forgetting to share the Atlanta Public Schools news of the week. The teachers ate now required to give all students who do not hand in assignments a grade of 50% instead of a zero. Many teachers are not happy about this new requirement. Mind boggling, isn’t it?
Nightingale took me with her to visit Boy today. We had a nice visit for a couple of hours. It was so good to see him!
He is doing fairly well there, but wants to come home, especially in time for his birthday this coming Wednesday. That doesn’t look likely right now, I don’t think, but we will see. Nightingale has an appointment on Tuesday to talk to someone there about his progress and such.
It has been a lazy day day of rest around here. Warm outside and windy in town. As I was walking out of the church the leaves were blowing about. It was a peaceful reflective moment of when I was a child walking in the leaves on a colder autumn day in Ohio! I love autumn!
Kizzie I pray your visit brings calm to his young spirit and that he would be drawn to the Father through this season. And Nightingale as well!
Dj you all have to take a written test to renew license? I’ve never had to do that here. I only have to get my doctor’s approval letter stating I can see well enough to drive during the day!

I had trouble sleeping last night, a rare thing but it happens. So by the time I got back to sleep I really slept late. 😦

Cruise ship is heading out of port, can hear the musical sounds they play when they leave.
Doing laundry, about to clean lamp shades …
I still have a vacuum cleaner I need to assemble, tired of stepping around that big box in the living room.
When I get too tired of that, I’ll get to it I suppose. I hate trying to put things together.
Good thing the dogs all came pre-assembled.

I’ve spent a few hours this afternoon going through the DMV handbook in preparation for the written test; license renewal is due in a couple weeks.
Paid a medical bill.
And I will also have to go through some of the scary drawings to put in my votes, this is something our company does every year w/area schools.
But I also want to try out a new idea for Abby and the car …
And then, poof, another weekend will be gone. Blink of an eye they go by.
