“New York Judge Issues a Gag Order After Trump Attacks Court Clerk Online”
President Trump posted this on Truth Social.
Judge Arthur Engoron’s Principal Law Clerk Allison Greenfield appears to be a Democrat political operative who is collaborating with @SenSchumer who has openly proclaimed his desire to “get Trump” and see him jailed.
All the hand wringing and whining ignores McCarthy’s long list of broken promises.
Good morning to everyone who knows why @SpeakerMcCarthy needs to go…
– We wanted the J6 video – We wanted defunding of the IRS – We wanted an impeachment – We wanted smaller government – We wanted a closed border – We wanted term limits – We wanted truth – We wanted NO more…
– Stroked a deal with Biden to send more money to Ukraine – Blocking the subpoena to Hunter Biden – Sold us out on the debt ceiling – Didn’t secure the border – Didn’t release the Jan6 tapes – Kept 87,000 New IRS Agents – Hasn’t helped J6 political prisoners… pic.twitter.com/P04f9cv5Xb

“Suddenly after three years, a number of angry former Trump appointees—some on the prompt of potential or real book promotions, or in anger about firings, or their own legal exposure—are replaying all the supposedly atrocious things Trump said in private to them between 2017-21. If, in fact, they are accurate, then by all means they were certainly atrocious things to have said even in private—and should never have been spoken by a president. But what is mysterious about their outrage are three other considerations that we hear nothing about from such now quite public critics:
1) Is there not a difference between atrocious bluster in private and public, methodical weaponization and destruction of our institutions?
Can such critics at least say they deplore the weaponization of the FBI (e.g., the contracting of old Twitter to suppress the news, the admitted lying under oath of its interim director Andrew McCabe, the convenient “amnesia” on 245 occasions of James Comey while under oath, and the bureau’s current fixation with parents at school board meetings, traditional Catholics and pro-life activists)?
Or the corruption of our intelligence officials who were knee-deep in the fraud of “51 former intelligence authorities” who willingly lied, on the prompt of the current secretary of state, about a laptop—deliberately so to influence a presidential debate and election?
Or the entire collusion hoax that was hatched by the Clinton campaign, with help from the FBI, DOJ, and CIA?
Or consider two of our top intelligence officials who lied admittedly under oath, such as Brennan and Clapper? Does not all that pose a danger to democracy?
Or the politicalization of the DOJ that was ready to exempt, save a brave dissenting judge, Hunter Biden and by extension the Biden clan from real legal jeopardy. Was it not wrong in 2020 for retired 4-stars officers to attack in venomous terms and publicly their commander-in-chief? If not so, why then is there a statute at all in the uniform code of military justice prohibiting just that?
2) As far as “dangers to the democracy”, cannot some at least cite the radical changes in voting laws done in key states in 2020 under the guise of Covid, or the infusion of $419 million by Mark Zuckerberg to appropriate the work of registrars and voting officials in key states?
Or the “cabal” and “conspiracy” to ensure the Biden 2020 victory as boasted about in stunning detail by liberal Time writer Molly Ball?
Who tried to cancel student loans without a vote of congress, or drained a great deal of the strategic petroleum reserve solely to boost approval before the midterms?
Or the 2016 leftwing effort to pressure the electors not to vote according to their constitutional responsibilities and instead throw the election to Clinton?
Can’t they at least cite the 120-days of looting, riot, arson, attacks on law enforcement, and deaths that were largely exempt from punishment—violence that included an attempt to storm the White House grounds to get at a president, and the torching of a police precinct, federal courthouse, and iconic DC church?
Or cannot they deplore the 2015-17 macabre threats to Trump’s person by celebrities (beheading, shooting, stabbing, incineration, blowing up, etc.)?
What actually had Trump done in his first moments in office when DC rioters went berserk during the inauguration and Madonna screamed about blowing up the White House?
What had he done in his first few days that prompted ex-Pentagon lawyer Rosa Brooks to write in Foreign Policy (“3 Ways to Get Rid of President Trump Before 2020”) an outline of how to destroy his presidency before it started by either the 25th Amendment, impeachment—or a military coup (cf. also the later August 2020 pre-election letter of retired officers Nagl and Yingling, calling on Gen. Milley to intervene following the election with the 82nd Airborne to remove Trump from office).
What had he done in his first few months in office in earn 58 House members voting to impeach him?
3) Who injured the country and the lives of its people more, the 4-years of Donald Trump or the 2.5 years of Joe Biden?
Who engineered the exempt crossing of 8-million illegal entrants that will have repercussions for decades? Who has been largely silent about nearly 100,000 annual fentanyl deaths and the direct role of an open border in them?
Who engineered the disastrous and deadly flight from Kabul, timed for the narcissistic public stunt of a cheap 20th-anniversary triumph celebration of 9/11—according to The Washington Post?
Who called the accidental killing of 10 civilians during the Kabul mess a “righteous strike”, or phoned his PLA counterpart to warn about his own commander in chief, or unlawfully hijacked the chain of command?
Who spiked fuel prices, interest rates, and inflation that have caused untold misery to millions of Americans?
Who is silent about the destruction of the criminal code in our major cities that has helped unleash an unprecedented crime wave?
That list of current catastrophes that go unnoticed could be expanded.
So yes, if these recent accusations about crude and cruel Trump private conversations are true, then let us all deplore what Donald Trump said in private to his closest aides and appointees.
But let us also consider that those who voice these expressions of outrage seem to stay silent about the concrete damage to our institutions and country that was neither rhetorical nor spontaneous—but all too real and planned. ”

“The tip off here that this Judge is malformed from the jurisprudential standpoint is him saying at several points: “I have tools.”
This suggests that he has particular results he wants to get to and that when he has “tools” to get to where he wants to go, he just pulls that “tool” out of the “tool bag” and gets there.
This kind of thinking is the direct result of the pernicious brand of thinking that has been taught in our law schools for too long: “legal realism.” This is the idea that the law is nothing more than politics and it encourages the view by the people that every judge thinks like Judge Engoron about available “tools” he can exploit and always has thought this way behind the scenes.
No, we still have judges who apply the objective law to the objective facts. They will set aside civil jury verdicts only in rare circumstances where the law or the facts are so clear that this is the result demanded by logic and reason. And they know that their decisions will be reviewed by appellate judges sitting on a panel to test for whether they have reasoned objectively and dispassionately.
And I’ve never heard a judge — even one who follows the dangerous jurisprudential school of “legal realism” — say he gets to pull “tools” out of the “tool bag” just to vent his spleen — to satisfy his emotions.
At least most legal-realist judges think when they overrule juries they’re doing it to achieve some higher political end, not a purely personal end of satisfying their emotions. Don’t get me wrong, both are damaging to the legal system. But Judge Engoron’s version of the disease is truly terminal to any long-term respect for the judicial system. It becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy of the law turning into whatever judges say it is.
Judge Engoron is way out there. But there are more of him floating around than you know.”

“What is happening to President Donald Trump has never been done in the history of the United States. Liberals, put your anger aside for one moment and read this:
The AG couldn’t find a crime, so she’s charging a criminal case covered as a Civil matter. The Judge is working in conjunction with her and they decided Trump is guilty, and the AG has submitted a motion for Summary Judgement.
He doesn’t get to defend himself in court. The gag order doesn’t allow him to defend himself publicly. The Judge decided before the case that he was guilty, and is now attempting to strip his businesses and properties.
None of this has been done before. This is one of the biggest abuses of power we’ve ever witnessed as American Citizens. They’ve taken the leading candidate for President of the United States and refuse to give him a fair trial.
Disbarring the Judge and AG isn’t enough. The punishment should be the most severe allowed by the Justice System.
If you’re on the left or on the fence or even a conservative and you’re supporting this, you’ve lost your moral compass. Your blind anger is causing you to sit back and watch as this country crumbles.
The Obama and now Biden Iran policies have never made much sense to me.
Iran is the avowed enemy of our allies and partners in the Middle East region, but for some reason, the Obama and Biden Administrations have spent enormous efforts appeasing Iran at the same time that they have been increasingly hostile to countries that have allied themselves with us.
A new revelation that first popped up on Semaphor, written by two Wall Street Journal reporters, sheds some light on who was driving US policies toward Iran, and the news isn’t good.”
The Washington Post in 2021: “Biden's pick for Iran envoy is a pro. Deal with it.”
REALITY CHECK: “The Biden administration’s now-suspended Iran envoy Robert Malley helped to fund, support, and direct an Iranian intelligence operation designed to influence the United States…” pic.twitter.com/u79RgVS04v
“Apparently the Biden Administration has known for months that their key Iran Envoy, Robert Malley, was a key member of an Iranian spy ring/influence operation. He was suspended several months ago–disappearing off the stage–and a couple months after the suspension it was revealed through some sleuthing that he is being investigated for “mishandling” classified documents.
There seems to be a lot of that in Washington.
When Malley was appointed by Biden he was applauded by all the “best” people as a real pro, and indeed he was. Just not a pro at protecting US interests.”

No wonder WaPo wants to use the R speakership fight to distract from their, once again, completely wrong takes.
“Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich called Tuesday for the expulsion of Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) from the House Republican Conference, claiming the Florida Republican is violating conference rules to carry out an agenda against Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA).
Gaetz, after much threatening to do so, filed a motion to vacate on Monday, which McCarthy had no choice but to schedule a vote for within two legislative days.
Due to the House Republican’s razor-thin majority, it wasn’t difficult for Gaetz to gather enough votes to secure McCarthy’s ouster. In the Tuesday vote, the motion to vacate succeeded, garnering a majority of House members by a vote of 216 to 210, with eight Republicans joining Democratic representatives who were instructed by their conference leadership to vote to oust McCarthy.
According to Gingrich in an op-ed for the Washington Post, Gaetz “should be expelled from the House Republican Conference.”
The former speaker justified his call by pointing to a House Republican Conference rule, which states that the privilege of bringing a motion to vacate “should only be available with the agreement of the Republican Conference so as to not allow Democrats to choose the Speaker.””
—
“Instead, Gaetz “is simply violating the rules in the pursuit of personal attention and fundraising,” he wrote. He further claimed that the Florida representative is “destroying the House GOP’s ability to govern,” calling him “an anti-Republican.””
—-
Here’s why Newt the establishment stooge is wrong. National Review knows this too, yet rails at Gaetz for keeping his word and calls it a fundraising ploy.
“Back in January, when Representative Kevin McCarthy was elected to be speaker of the House after 15 ballots, my immediate reaction was that he was the speaker in name only. Embedded within the agreement that sealed his speakership was a ticking time bomb that allowed a single member of the House to file a motion to remove him from office. On Tuesday, that bomb exploded, leaving him without the speakership and with House Republicans once again plunged into chaos.”
But then that is what Democrat rule leads to, disgraceful things….

“The federal government believes that the threat of violence and major civil disturbances around the 2024 U.S. presidential election is so great that it has quietly created a new category of extremists that it seeks to track and counter: Donald Trump’s army of MAGA followers.”
—-
“From the president down, the Biden administration has presented Trump and MAGA as an existential threat to American democracy and talked up the risk of domestic terrorism and violence associated with the 2024 election campaign.
“Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans are a threat to the very soul of this country,” President Biden tweeted last September, the first time that he explicitly singled out the former president. “MAGA Republicans aim to question not only the legitimacy of past elections but elections being held now and into the future,” Biden said.
Biden’s Homeland Security Advisor Liz Sherwood-Randall said: “The use of violence to pursue political ends is a profound threat to our public safety and national security…it is a threat to our national identity, our values, our norms, our rule of law—our democracy.”

All of this over mostly peaceful Jan6 protests. They just seek further conflict, so they will initiate it themselves if necessary, using provocation and lies to egg on actions they can then use to justify a further crackdown on their political opposition, as Jan6 shows us.
The office of the Speaker is vacant, so I think it would pass to the next person in line, the President Pro Tem of the Senate (Patty Murray at present). The Wikipedia article has a section “Current order of succession” that lists all the people currently in the various positions.
McHenry is now the acting Speaker of the House. This follows Senate rules for such an occasion. He will hold the position until a new speaker is elected. He was one of McCarthy’s deputy speakers, and came from a list McCarthy was required to submit of temp replacements.
“Who is acting Speaker of the House now?
Deputy Whip Rep. Patrick McHenry (R- North Carolina) is now acting Speaker Pro Tempore until a vote is held for who will succeed McCarthy. According to House rules, McHenry was picked from a list McCarthy was required to keep of people to take his place.
After the unprecedented ousting of McCarthy, Henry told fellow Republicans that his powers were limited in that he can only preside over the election of a new speaker and not general House business, Politico reported.”
—-
While he may be limited, he’s already put the House in recess and sent everyone home for a week. That’s odd considering you would expect him to get right to it on replacing McCarthy.
We should get to electing a new, more conservative and more trustworthy Speaker immediately.
I'm calling on @PatrickMcHenry, who is currently the Speaker Pro Tem, to reconsider the decision that he just made to send everyone in Congress home for a week.

“It would be fair to argue that the title of this article could have been shortened considerably because pretty much all of New York City is overwhelmed by migrants now. Even the Mayor and the Governor have admitted as much and asked people arriving at the southern border to go elsewhere. (They’re ignoring that request so far.) But the city’s hospitals have been hit particularly hard. It’s nearly as difficult to find an empty hospital bed now as it was at the height of the pandemic. Many of the migrants arrive with or develop serious medical issues. And the vast majority of them have no jobs or money, they have no insurance, and they have no accessible medical records. This is placing a huge strain on the city’s hospitals and sucking up resources that legal residents still require.”
—-
“New York is a big city with multiple hospitals and a sizable public medical system, but those facilities were already busy enough taking care of the legal population of residents. You can’t simply dump another 30,000 patients into the mix without causing serious issues. Also, many people, particularly those in lower-income neighborhoods receive care at public clinics that are at least partially funded by the taxpayers. Those clinics are also overwhelmed, with many of the migrants reportedly being treated on an emergency basis while residents sit through long waiting periods for an appointment.
Legal services are also being strained to the limit. One legal clinic at Bellevue Hospital offers free legal help to anyone who is referred by a medical provider. The director of the clinic told NBC News that now almost all of the people she serves are illegal migrants seeking work permits or help obtaining housing. The waiting list for regular clients has grown disproportionately.
The entire system is overwhelmed. Whether you’re talking about housing, food, clothing, medical care, or anything else, the migrants are sucking all of the resources out of the city. And the taxpayers are footing the bill for all of it, either directly or indirectly. Few have the heart to say no to the migrants because Americans tend to be charitable people who want to help if they’re able. But this has long since passed the point of ridiculousness.
Somebody needs to grow a spine and do the job that Joe Biden refuses to do. The vast majority of these migrants are not eligible for asylum and the government knows it. They have no legal entitlement to simply show up here illegally and demand limitless free resources. Every one of them who doesn’t qualify for asylum needs to be rounded up and put on buses, planes, and ships and sent back to where they came from. And we need to shut off the southern border in a serious way. If Biden won’t do it, he needs to let Greg Abbott do it and stop fighting him in court every time he begins making some progress. And this can’t wait until Joe Biden is (hopefully) replaced as President. The crisis is real and it’s upon us today. Something needs to be done.”
“On Monday, embattled MLB pitcher Trevor Bauer posted a video to X (formerly known as Twitter) breaking his two-year legally-imposed silence due to allegations of sexual assault. In what turned out to be a just-under four-minute video posted to his verified X account, Bauer relayed his side of the story, complete with screenshots of his accuser’s own words and texts. Words and texts that were written in the aftermath of the #metoo sexual assault hysteria whipped up by the Left.
“‘Next victim. Star pitcher for the Dodgers,’” Bauer began reading a text written by his accuser, Lindsey Hill. The text was sent to her friend before she even met Bauer. Wow, can you say premeditated?
Bauer read on: “What should I steal,” the accuser asked a friend in another text, referencing an upcoming visit to Bauer’s house. “Take his money,” the friend replied.
So how might an enterprising and promiscuous young woman go about stealing money from a wealthy young MLB player? Simple: during a sexual hookup, accuse him of assault, of course. “I’m going to his house Wednesday,” Hill wrote. “I already have my hooks in — you know how I roll.” After that meeting, Hill’s friends continued to egg her on after she found out Bauer’s “net worth is $51 mil.” “Bitch, you better secure the bag,” was the friend’s terse response, meaning she should make sure she gets evidence to use to get money from Bauer.
Hill had a plan. “Need Daddy to choke me out,” she wrote. “Being an absolute whore to try to get in on his $51 million.” Could her plan and motive have been any more clear? Not really.
As if to add insult to injury, one of Bauer’s fellow baseball players seemed aware of the scheme. According to Bauer, “former Padres pitcher Jacob Nix” told Hill, “You got to get this bag.” To which Hill offered, “I’ll give you $50,000.” On the morning of May 16, 2021, Hill put her plan in motion by accusing Bauer of sexually assaulting her.”
After the accusation, Hill and her legal team tried repeatedly “to come to a financial settlement.” Bauer refused to settle. Hill even filed for and was denied a restraining order against Bauer; a rare occurrence. Her claims were also found to be “materially misleading.” And still, Hill’s team continued to ask for money from Bauer. Bauer refused each time and determined he’d sue Hill. The problem for Bauer’s legal team was that, at first, they were not aware of the existence of a video taken on the morning in question.
In August of 2021, Lindsey Hill’s claims were heard in court. And during those legal proceedings, critical information was deliberately and unlawfully concealed from me and my legal team. Information like this video, which was taken by Lindsey Hill herself the morning after she claimed she was brutally attacked, emotionally traumatized, and desperate to get away from me.
And now we have the metadata — so there can be no dispute — it was taken mere minutes before she left my house on the morning of May 16, 2021, without my knowledge or consent, of course. In it, you can see her lying in bed next to me while I’m sleeping, smirking at the camera without a care in the world or any marks on her face.
“The fact is I was never arrested,” said Bauer. “I was never charged with a crime, and I won the only legal proceeding that took place without my side of the story even being heard. And most importantly, as I’ve said from day one, I never sexually assaulted Lindsey Hill or anyone else for that matter. So I sued her, which prompted her to countersue me.” For Bauer, it wasn’t about the money. It was about his reputation and his integrity. The lawsuit was “the only way for me to obtain critical information to clear my name,” Bauer said.”
It appears her lawyers had the evidence the entire time. Speaking specifically about the video of her laying in bed next to me with no marks on her face the morning after she claims I brutally attacked her, an email containing that video was sent to her attorney Bryan Freedman…
“It appears her lawyers had the evidence the entire time. Speaking specifically about the video of her laying in bed next to me with no marks on her face the morning after she claims I brutally attacked her, an email containing that video was sent to her attorney Bryan Freedman before the DVRO hearing in 2021 and it was never turned over to us. Perhaps that’s why he insisted on adding his name to the released parties section in the settlement agreement. There was also a 12 day span of texts between lindsey and two of her closest friends immediately following the incident that were deleted. We asked for them in discovery for the dvro, they weren’t turned over. We also argued that they must be turned over in the dvro proceeding. They were not. Lindsey hills other law firm, Meyer Olson Lowy and Meyers LLP, who co represented her through that court process, had them the whole time.”

He should be forced to give all of the money back now that he’s been removed as @SpeakerMcCarthy!
This is a lot of money. Did he suspect he was going to be removed as Speaker? Is that why he laundered $1.8 million to himself from the fund that is supposed to be used to support all Republican members of Congress?

“News cycles killed:
– House Dem admits to a felony
– Biden admin lead Iran negotiator caught in Iranian spy ring
– CA gov appoints Marylander and dem dark money doner to fill vacant CA senate seat
– Senate foreign relations committee chair charged with taking bribes from a foreign government
– President’s son pleaded not guilty to a gun charge where his attorneys have told DoJ they plan on calling the president as a witness
– President’s son listed the president’s address as the beneficiary on a wire transfer from a CCP linked company
– impeachment inquiry hearings”
Also being mostly ignored by the media…
Honestly, the punishment should match the crime here. Disgusting.

Nope, no bias here…..

When will enough be enough?”

“Biden Iran envoy key member of Iranian government spy ring/influence operation”
https://hotair.com/david-strom/2023/10/04/biden-iran-envoy-key-member-of-iranian-government-spy-ring-influence-operation-n582188
“Well, this explains a lot.

Once again, Newt is wrong.
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/house/newt-gingrich-calls-gaetz-expulsion-gop-conference#google_vignette
McCarthy agreed to what Gaetz did ahead of time.
https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/kevin-mccarthys-speakership-came-with-a-ticking-time-bomb/

Biden’s Homeland Security Advisor Liz Sherwood-Randall said: “The use of violence to pursue political ends is a profound threat to our public safety and national security…it is a threat to our national identity, our values, our norms, our rule of law—our democracy.”

“NYC hospitals are overwhelmed by migrants”
https://hotair.com/jazz-shaw/2023/10/04/nyc-hospitals-are-overwhelmed-by-migrants-n582324
Something needs to be done.”

https://pjmedia.com/uncategorized/gwendolynsims/2023/10/04/ex-mlb-pitcher-trevor-bauer-exposes-jaw-dropping-scheme-of-metoo-accuser-n1731765

There should be consequences for her totally unethical lawyers as well.
