Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 79
A psalm of Asaph.
1 O God, the nations have invaded your inheritance;
they have defiled your holy temple,
they have reduced Jerusalem to rubble.
2 They have left the dead bodies of your servants
as food for the birds of the sky,
the flesh of your own people for the animals of the wild.
3 They have poured out blood like water
all around Jerusalem,
and there is no one to bury the dead.
4 We are objects of contempt to our neighbors,
of scorn and derision to those around us.
5 How long, Lord? Will you be angry forever?
How long will your jealousy burn like fire?
6 Pour out your wrath on the nations
that do not acknowledge you,
on the kingdoms
that do not call on your name;
7 for they have devoured Jacob
and devastated his homeland.
8 Do not hold against us the sins of past generations;
may your mercy come quickly to meet us,
for we are in desperate need.
9 Help us, God our Savior,
for the glory of your name;
deliver us and forgive our sins
for your name’s sake.
10 Why should the nations say,
“Where is their God?”
Before our eyes, make known among the nations
that you avenge the outpoured blood of your servants.
11 May the groans of the prisoners come before you;
with your strong arm preserve those condemned to die.
12 Pay back into the laps of our neighbors seven times
the contempt they have hurled at you, Lord.
13 Then we your people, the sheep of your pasture,
will praise you forever;
from generation to generation
we will proclaim your praise.
Lifting up Kizzie today, joy and peace..

Prayers for my cousin D who called paramedics last night when she felt some numbness in one of her legs; she’s in the hospital where they’re running tests, she’s feeling fine now, so we’ll see what they determine happened.

Please pray for continuing healing of Bro. He is making his lunch now. I told him he needs to do some for himself as if he is at home by himself. He continues to get rid of the retained fluid. We are trying to up the rounds we walk. He is happy as long as Miss B is out of sight. I feel sad when I hear her cry. We may watch How theWest Was Won later. Praising God for good old movies!

I thought your brother was sneaking food to the cat a few days ago. What happened?

Mumsee, Miss B swatted at him and he is fearful of infection, bleeding too much, etc. It supposedly was all my fault that the cat exhibited bad behavior. She is now staying in the bedroom most of the time. I am in the bedroom with her right now, and she is peacefully napping in my lap. Such a sweet cat . . . until she’s not.

Understandable. It is important to be able to read cats.

Reading cats, so right, mumsee. You really have to earn their trust, you can’t be too forward with them. Cats take patience.
I was happy to find LiLu, the black-and-white cat from next door, on my front porch the other night when I opened the door to walk out there for some fresh air. I’ve been cultivating her for a couple years, though, just be speaking to her and not approaching on her occasional visits on the porch. The other night she came up to me, rubbed against my legs, and seemed pleased to see me.
But while I did gently pet her back as she passed by, I always let cats pretty much make the first move and let them determine how much we will interact.
She looked like she wanted to go inside the house, but we’re not “going there” with the relationship, she has a home. She’s used to dogs, has a few of her own always around, and Abby loves cats, but it did make me (again) think how nice it would be to have another little kitty around …

We have a cat that joined us last spring. Nobody has touched it yet (other than the time it got caught in one of the live traps set for the raccoon). But it gets fed every night and allows people within about five feet. Patience and even then. It is one of those white cats with black face and tail. We call it Tiny.
