Psalm 61

1 Hear my cry, O God;
listen to my prayer.
2 From the ends of the earth I call to you,
I call as my heart grows faint;
lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
3 For you have been my refuge,
a strong tower against the foe.
4 I long to dwell in your tent forever
and take refuge in the shelter of your wings.
5 For you, God, have heard my vows;
you have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.
6 Increase the days of the king’s life,
his years for many generations.
7 May he be enthroned in God’s presence forever;
appoint your love and faithfulness to protect him.
8 Then I will ever sing in praise of your name
and fulfill my vows day after day.
Wandering Views 
Thanks to all who prayed for our grandson, Nick. A nurse said she never believed he would be able to come off the ventilator, but he has. He is back in a regular room at the hospital after learning to swallow again. Please pray for continued healing–most of all in his heart. He is mid-thirties, legally blind and in a wheelchair and lives in an assisted living place far from his hometown. It is easy to be bitter and directionless. He has had much teaching about the Lord, however. Pray for good people around him to lead him into a walk (or deeper walk) with the Lord and a sense of purpose. Pray he will leave the bad habits learned at the hand of his mother behind and have his mind renewed by God’s word.

Praise God for provision of a top notch surgeon for my brother. He was partners with a pioneering surgeon who performed robotic surgery on Art some years back.
Of course my eczema is flaring from the stress and diet issues. Please pray for peace in the storm, to hang on tight to Jesus for this long ride, and to be grateful for all the miracles and not complaining about all the irritations.
Pray for me to have greater ability to give worries over to Jesus who is the best burden bearer ever. And please pray for His supply of supernatural help to be released momentut by moment as needs arise. Thank you.

That is such great news about Nick!
KJ had an encouraging doctor visit on Tuesday. In the hospital, doctors had speculated about cancer causing some of her weird labs and vital signs, which had us all very anxious. Of course we made it worse by consulting Dr. Google about the labs, which Dr. Google said pointed very clearly to cancer.
The endocrinologist KJ saw on Tuesday said that the trauma of the internal hemorrhage could easily have caused all the weird labs, and she believes the likelihood of cancer is quite low. Instead of going straight to PET scans to look for tumors, she wants to repeat the labs to see if those indicators are even still there. And the “benign” tumor that hemorrhaged will probably wither away on its own because KJ has stopped using the medication that is known to cause this type of tumor.
KJ and Mrs B came home from the doctor in a far better mood than when they left.
Meanwhile, her pain level continues to go down with fewer pain meds (she’s been off the opioid for a week), and though she’s still very weak she’s getting stronger.

In other news, prayer for son in law. Daughter just texted husband to tell him she signed the grandson up for preschool Mon through Fri, which includes son in law’s time. He gets them from now to Monday morning. Daughter has not told son in law or asked his opinion after she refused to allow him to sign them up with his choice of school. Incredibly obnoxious. So, he has a few ways to react and I am praying wisdom and strength of character to do the right thing for his children.

Yes…thankful for good reports and continuing to pray over other requests. Trusting Dj’s procedure to go well and soon she will be blessed to see the stained glass wings of that monarch up there in all it’s glorious beauty!
