Very grateful for God’s continual Presence in our lives. The other day, I stepped out the door and heard a chick in distress. I went looking because sometimes they get stuck in odd places. This one I found in the water trough, legs outstretched, feathers soaked, as it patiently called for help. I pulled it out and wrapped it in paper towels to absorb the moisture, and held it in the sun to warm it. Eventually called daughter to take over. We had to wait until its legs relaxed and starting working again from being outstretched in the cold water. After an hour or so, it had revived enough to go its own way. She got some nice pics of it yesterday, out being a chicken. Thank You, God for caring about even one little abandoned chicken young one.
I figured it might be good to get that out of the way before the cataract surgery so I wouldn’t be trying to cut my own bangs with one eye. I mess it up enough with both eyes.
Stylist was happy I’d come in before she had to do a fix in another few weeks.
🙂 Bought pumpkin biscuits for Abby at Sprouts on the way home …
… and 😦 pumpkin muffins for me. I will only eat small pieces of the muffins at a time (she vowed to herself).
