Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 52
When Doeg the Edomite had gone to Saul and told him: “David has gone to the house of Ahimelek.”
1 Why do you boast of evil, you mighty hero?
Why do you boast all day long,
you who are a disgrace in the eyes of God?
2 You who practice deceit,
your tongue plots destruction;
it is like a sharpened razor.
3 You love evil rather than good,
falsehood rather than speaking the truth.
4 You love every harmful word,
you deceitful tongue!
5 Surely God will bring you down to everlasting ruin:
He will snatch you up and pluck you from your tent;
he will uproot you from the land of the living.
6 The righteous will see and fear;
they will laugh at you, saying,
7 “Here now is the man
who did not make God his stronghold
but trusted in his great wealth
and grew strong by destroying others!”
8 But I am like an olive tree
flourishing in the house of God;
I trust in God’s unfailing love
for ever and ever.
9 For what you have done I will always praise you
in the presence of your faithful people.
And I will hope in your name,
for your name is good.
You recall that daughter refused to allow the other grandma to pick up the children though the grandmother arrived with two car seats.
This morning she sent the side dish to pick them up at six. He was late and arrived in his truck with no car seats.
Would it be reasonable for son in law to not turn them over? Car seats are required here to age seven.
Prayer for wisdom.

Yes! It would be reasonable for Son not to turn them over? Did he?

KJ had a quiet birthday yesterday, just with me and Mrs B. Her pain level has gone down a lot and she hasn’t taken the narcotic pain med since bedtime last night, though she could have had one late this morning per the doctor’s weaning schedule.
Her lab work before she saw the doctor last week raised some scary possibilities for other things going on. Peace, confidence in the Lord, healing.
I do agree it would have been reasonable for son-in-law not to turn the kids over to a sketchy-sounding guy who didn’t have car seats. How did it turn out, Mumsee?

How old are those kids anyway? Are they the surviving twin and a sibling?

No child should be turned over to someone with no car seats.

Praying little brother.
The children normally run down the driveway to mom’s vehicle (recall I kicked her off the property for her behavior when she came by to read them a bedtime story). Maybe one hundred feet but it gives space for a more cordial turn over than she can generally manage. The kid’s truck arrived, no sign of daughter, the children ran up, he popped them in and jumped in the driver’s seat and drove off. No sign of seats or buckling.
The three year old is the surviving twin and her four year old brother. Four year old has commented before that mom says he does not need a seatbelt if it is uncomfortable and that they often ride with boyfriend without car seats.
Son in law will walk them out next time.

I am miserable with sinus pain on half my face, which makes my teeth ache. I would appreciate prayer, too. I do wonder if all the tomatoes I have eaten lately are maybe making my allergies worse. There has been a lot of wind, however, and smoke from the wildfires, so who knows? We are in very high fire danger again.

Praying Kathaleena, how uncomfortable!

That would be considered a mandatory report in CA. 😦

Was that mentioned in the custody hearing? That would be a huge red flag to the judge.

Son in law did not want to tear down daughter, he only wanted fifty fifty custody.

Remember, he did not see the inside of the vehicle. He was wondering based on what he did see and comments the children have made and that they now do complain about using car seats.
