😦 Another day to work on the re-ordering this house
🙂 Abby’s coming along, such a sweet dog.
I have now gotten her to go “slow” as we walk down the driveway toward the sidewalk for the walk;
we are enjoying a fun play time in the backyard before she’s leashed up;
… then she sits politely while I put the leash on;
she came to me mostly house trained, though we had a couple early accidents, but now she’ll put her front paws up on my bed when she needs to be let out in the middle of the night (doesn’t happen often, but she signaled me at 4 a.m. this morning, good dog);
we’re continuing to work on the car de-sensitizing and treats during the walks.
😦 This strange political season we are stuck in. Oy, the choices. Is there a “lifeboat” candidate who can be available, please?
🙂 But I am enjoying, as I always do, watching the various candidates maneuver their way through the Iowa State Fair without making too many faux pas.
… Such fun. I never went to the Iowa State Fair, only the Clay County Fair in northwest IA where we’re from, but it is an experience to behold and get your mind around. Very old school, but in a nice and fun and very Midwest-American way.
