Prayer Requests 7-18-23

Anyone have something to share? 

Psalm 13

For the director of music. A psalm of David.

1 How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever?
    How long will you hide your face from me?
2 How long must I wrestle with my thoughts
    and day after day have sorrow in my heart?
    How long will my enemy triumph over me?

3 Look on me and answer, Lord my God.
    Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death,
4 and my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,”
    and my foes will rejoice when I fall.

5 But I trust in your unfailing love;
    my heart rejoices in your salvation.
6 I will sing the Lord’s praise,
    for he has been good to me.

  3. Please pray for safe travels home today for Nightingale. (I was busy earlier, and forgot to mention this.) She is already flying from Mexico to Texas, and then will fly from Texas to Connecticut, arriving close to midnight. Then she will have to drive about 45 minutes home. I’m sure she will be quite tired by then, so please pray that she stays alert and awake in her drive home. Thank you.

  4. Oh, Kizzie, I just saw this. Prayers for her!

    Wes flew today, too. Just got back to Atl. He flew from Geneva to London where he spent a short night, then to Charlotte, and now here. It is a big prayer when they are in travel status. PTL that Art and I were well enough that Wes felt able to spend three weeks at L’abri with his friends.
