  1. Time to impeach this criminal.

The Biden Crime Family has been exposed, by agents under oath, with the documents. This is why they’ve been attacking the whistleblowers, with the help of a propagandist press, of course.

Even some Democrats exposed this unwittingly.

Dems for the most part just ran interference for Biden, and generally looked stupid.

    Like I said…. stupid.

That’s the point clown, the whole impeachment was a farce.

  5. After posting that, I just saw this part in the Dispatch newsletter:

“Some days, we’re inspired by Congress’ example of democracy in action.

Other days, we watch a six-hour hearing about Hunter Biden complete with lewd posters of the first son—which we won’t be describing in detail, because our moms read this newsletter. Thank you, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.”

  6. So … ?

I avoided looking at that story when I saw it pop up on a news compilation site last night.

But now, here it is! Oh joy.

The culture in many segments is lost, but we are to choose a different path.

I’m baffled by the fascination and obsession with Hunter Biden, frankly. And beyond weary of it, as well.

And yes, no one is above the law. That applies in so many categories.

Praying still for mercy for our nation and for wise leaders to be raised up who can lead us in a better direction.

  7. An ongoing joke on the left side of the internet is Republicans are only interested in Hunter’s laptop for the porn. MTG just confirmed it and they are amused. There was no need to show amateur porn on a live broadcast – if your party is constantly complaining about grooming and LGBQT content, you look pretty hypocritical showing porn in a govt hearing.

I just watched a Midas Touch video which said the exact opposite of AJ’s tweets – the Democrats apparently just crushed it. Its easy to find what you want.

Trump was constantly mentioned by Democrats since the “whistleblowers” and Republicans claim the DOJ was “weaponized”. However, every case cited by the whistleblowers occurred during the Trump presidency, with a Trump AG and the investigation was being overseen by a Trump appointed attorney. An attorney that Joe Biden didn’t replace. You can’t weaponize the DOJ and the FBI if it’s not your administration.

Speaking of money from China, one Democrat noted Trump received more money from China than Hunter Biden in the same year and he was president.

I believe the Democrat used Trump’s phone call as an example of how Trump weaponized the administration against his political opponent.

Greenwald asserts those who watch CNN and MSNBC would have no idea about these hearings. They’re watching and they’re laughing.

  8. I have to add, MTG is the gift that keeps giving. She’s been used frequently in Democrat ads. Recently a one minute part of her speech at the Turning Point PAC was used as a Lincoln Project ad – she basically compared Biden to FDR and said he was trying to complete the New Deal ie spending on education, housing, rural poverty, social security, medicare and medicaid. I’d say that she just endorsed Biden for president.

  10. As Christians, we are wise to protect our minds from garbage. My suspicion is that a lot of the stuff happening is because the Christians are sleeping. We don’t really know what is going on in the schools because we don’t want the filth in our minds. But this stuff is being shown to children where they are told it is all good. How to balance that?

  11. True that, DJ. And I have probably left a bad view of Christians with all the books I have sent back to the libraries with a note or word on inappropriate, often brought to my attention by my children. Glamorizing suicide, drug and alcohol abuse, sex abuse, etc.

  12. hwesseli: The Dems “crushed it”? They know that they can’t discredit the evidence, the truth; so they simply do their usual disruption of the proceedings, change the subject, run out the clock, create chaos. I can’t believe that people actually vote for these folks. Such people may be laughing, but this is no laughing matter. Deep and dark corruption at the top echelons of our government like we’ve never seen before…

Why do you put the word ‘whistleblowers’ in scare quotes? These men are tremendously courageous – true heroes. The question is, why aren’t far more FBI and DoJ officials speaking out against all the corruption and abuses of power?

The Deep State folks have weaponized the government since at least as far back as the Obama admin, and when Trump became president, it only accelerated their devious and deceitful efforts. To say that the DOJ and FBI couldn’t be weaponized under the Trump admin is disingenuous, b/c that’s what actually happened!

  13. @3:19. Mumsee, thank you for speaking up when so many of us would rather lecture each other from our safe spaces ( I know I would).

There are many things I wish I had seen or touched when I worked in the packing department at Amazon. And that was years ago when transing and bondage, ans porn and sexual equipment was not being presented as mainstream. It breaks my heart that so many young vulnerable people are being forcibly exposed. No one in Congress (or on this blog) fits that description. We can close our eyes and ears. God forgive us, including me, when we close our hearts and our mouths when we should not. I pray I have your courage, Mumsee.

  14. Tychicus – my point was simple – AJ posted some tweets that say Democrats embarrassed themselves and Republicans proved their point yet on other sites the Democrats are “crushing it”. Anybody can edit these meetings to prove their point of view.

The problem for Republicans is that Democrats have a point – the period of time they claim there was obstruction and delay was under a Republican AG and DA.

It’s not scare quotes – just quotations to indicate I question their legitimacy. Why aren’t more FBI/IRS/DOJ speaking out? Good question – maybe it’s because there is no corruption?

  15. Most Conservatives are Republican, but of course not all Republicans are Conservative. AGs under Pres Trump certainly weren’t Conservative.

Why do you question the legitimacy of the whistleblowers? And why in the world would you claim that there is no corruption in the face of all the evidence?

  18. Out of sight, out of mind. Years ago before things got so warped I helped a neighbor by picking her children up from school. I asked to see the girl’s textbook because I was sincerely interested. I liked books. She told me her mom never looked at her books. I was quite surprised. I think the parents were so buy with their own lives with work and getting meals on the table that there was no time for “children’s activities” other than to try and ensure homework got done. I get it! I would have been too tired to care about the things the school was paid to do. That was in the early 90’s. That is how we got here. Still thankful to God forever for the opportunity and wisdom to homeschool.

  20. DJ,

What exactly is your issue here with MTG?

She’s exposing criminal behavior by a man who sits in the White House most days of the week. Yet you have a problem with her showing evidence of his crimes?

Prudishness rarely shows it’s face in Congress, yet in this instance everyone seems to have caught the vapors.

Direct your displeasure at the criminal, not those exposing his crimes.

  23. There’s a question mark behind my statement about corruption for a reason. I’m not saying there isn’t corruption but there’s nothing to indicate that’s the issue. Bureaucratic inertia is usually the reason nobody comes forward – keep your head down, work, collect pay and pension.

I’m not a prude but its stupid and hypocritical. You don’t need to show pictures — nobody in America denies that Hunter had sex with escorts. That’s not the issue. Greene compounded her idiocy by sending her “evidence” in a group email to her constituents. Anybody on her email list can now look at some amateur porn; perhaps even some young Republicans under 18 who volunteered in her last campaign. The party of family values is now sending porn to their constituents.

Of course, the FBI said “no comment”; its what police usually say when they are investigating something.

  26. Porn has its place and time. Congress is not the place nor the time. Equivocating it to LGBQT literature doesn’t work. I’ve read the stuff for middle school and there’s no amateur porn included. There’s no justification for it – Congress committee hearings are not a courtroom nor is the CSPAN audience a jury. Its just wrong and indecent.

  27. Twitter is obsessive by nature, it will latch onto one of these issues and just not let go. It’s not news. It’s, well, I don’t know, a weird kind of emotional and mental obsession with particular themes or issues, I guess (sorry for using that word so often but I keep coming back to that).

    Beware of what you “consume.”

  29. The world is watching and laughing..or crying who knows but it’s watching. We have a bumbling mumbling “president” making us a mockery.

Porn never has a place or time….never. Taking umbrage that it was shown in the halls of Congress yet taking none when it is flaunted in the public square in front of families and children by perverts is a tad bit off don’t ya think?

I don’t view Hunter being a point of obsession other than he has gotten away with something like none other. And his father was complicit in the dealings with foreign illegalities and lied and continues to lie about it. They need to go to prison. Fighting for truth and justice is not an obsession.

MTG says she is a believer. Do I agree with some of her shock or even rather silly tactics? Nope….but she says she is a believer and that would be between her and our Lord to work out mis steps….just as it is for us all….even David French I suppose.

  30. The real, none of us approve human trafficking in any form. Kizzie was simply pointing out her dislike of opening your news and finding things we do not choose to see. I did not read the story because I was not willing to read what was pictured.

DJ, I was not saying anything, yay or nay, on MTG’s presentation. I was saying that because we choose not to immerse ourselves in the garbage bin, we don’t realize how foul the garbage has become, or how accepted it is by society.

When Clinton did his thing in the Oval Office, a lot of older people had no idea what they were talking about. Now that same activity is being taught in elementary schools.

We need to know the enemy without delving in. A difficult challenge, especially because of the changes in the brain when it views porn. The internet is filled with that garbage, as my children can attest. Now the schools are teaching it. And yes, I know there is nothing new under the sun.

NJ – Is that in response to me?

In case it is, I will just say that those are two separate occurrences, and commenting on one does not necessarily reflect my views on the other.

I will say this, though. The world will do what the world will do. We Christians are supposed to hold to a higher standard. The apostle Paul even said something about not judging those in the world, but judging those in the church.

One of those photos depicts a sex act being done on Hunter Biden. That is most definitely inappropriate to share. (And that goes for MTG , too.)

  33. mumsee, I think we’re all quite aware of “the world” and what is going on. Nothing new under the sun, but standards do seem to be pushed in various eras (ours isn’t even the worst); but we seem to be in one of those cultural periods. We’re not blinded to that truth, we’re not “prudish.” But we see it for what it is. And call it out when that needs to be done.

From the posts here, there seems to be an inordinate obsessiveness with Hunter Biden on some social media threads. I avoid those and would recommend that’s a good idea, but each has to discern those things for themselves.

That it’s spread to congress perhaps shouldn’t be a surprise, but it is disheartening.

Our elected officials, on both sides, leave much to be desired.

    I’m being polite.

And I only hope, God willing, that we will be able to do better (much better, please) in the coming election cycle. But I’m not overly hopeful based on what I’m seeing of the discourse.

  35. Nope. HW said there is a time and place for porn but not in the halls of congress. He also feels if one doesn’t want their child exposed to perversions of Pride parades don’t go. I disagree.
My position is there is no excuse for porn..ever.
I did not look at the photos posted. I chose not to. One cannot deny they are there however. The first son is a pervert and a criminal. His father is complicit in the criminality.
MTG is in a position to expose what the Democrats are fighting so hard to conceal. Let those who have ears hear…expose the darkness ….. as far as I can tell she is not on the dark side. Many disagree with her methods but all I see is her frustration with this corrupt administration.

  36. DJ, first paragraph at 8:52 and Kizzie, the end of 8:44,
How do we Christians get so hot on abortion (the killing of a small child and the spiritual and emotional damage to the mothers) and yet not get hot over the sexual damage (spiritual, emotional and physical damage) to the children who were not killed? I am not fond of the graphic depictions but I know a lot of people who really are not exposed to the evil out there and really don’t know. And I am not saying you think the children should sink or swim but in not judging the world, do we try to protect the children and how?

    Liked by 4 people

  37. Mumsee – I think that that is a different matter. Although we are not supposed to “judge” as in being “judgmental” or condemning others, we are supposed to use our judgment, as in being discerning. And of course we are supposed to do what we can do for those who are being abused or taken advantage of in various ways, especially the young.

In quoting that part about not judging the world, but judging our own, I was not referring to not dealing with these issues. I was trying to point out the difference between the world and Christians in relation to exhibiting inappropriate photos or such. (That verse can be applied to a lot of different behaviors as well. Those in the world often don’t know any better, but we as Christians should know better.)

Quite frankly, right now I am very tired, having trouble coming up with the right words and explanations, and I don’t even know if I am making any sense. 😦 Maybe if you ask me more specific questions, I can answer you better tomorrow. Goodnight and God bless.
