  1. And….. Poof.

It’s gone from the media landscape.

“Philadelphia shooter was another transgender person”

    https://hotair.com/david-strom/2023/07/05/philadelphia-shooter-was-another-transgender-person-n562448

“No, I don’t think that being transgender necessarily makes you violent.

But I also think it is not a coincidence that a number of mass shootings lately have been carried out by transgender-identifying people. Alphabet ideology radicalizes people and convinces them that they are hated by and under constant threat from the larger society.”

“Unfortunately, a volatile combination has been created, putting people with obvious mental instability in the middle of a culture war battle, and nothing good can come from this. The vast majority of the people stoking this battle are “allies,” rather than people suffering directly from gender dysphoria, although there are plenty of activists who are transgender themselves.

The rhetoric justifying the mass movement to trans the kids is based upon a fiction: that failing to “recognize” children for “who they are” will lead them to kill themselves, and is itself an act of violence and an attempt to perpetrate genocide.

First of all, while people with gender dysphoria are indeed at higher risk of suicide and every effort should be made to help them, there is simply no evidence for and substantial evidence to the contrary that gender “affirmation” will reduce suicidal ideation. The evidence, in fact, is that suicide risk peaks after gender “affirming” treatment over several years. There is zero genuine evidence that gender affirmation is a cure for or even a treatment for dysphoria.”

  2. Independence Day indeed!

“Independence Day: Federal Court Enjoins Biden-Big Tech Collusive “far-reaching and widespread censorship campaign” against Conservatives

“The Plaintiffs are likely to succeed on the merits in establishing that the Government has used its power to silence the opposition…. It is quite telling that each example or category of suppressed speech was conservative in nature…. [T]he evidence produced thus far depicts an almost dystopian scenario.”

    https://legalinsurrection.com/2023/07/independence-day-federal-court-enjoins-biden-big-tech-collusive-far-reaching-and-widespread-censorship-campaign-against-conservatives/

“We previously have covered the lawsuit brought by Missouri and Louisiana against the Biden administration regarding collusion with big tech platforms to silence mostly conservative voices.

After extensive pre-trial proceedings, the federal District Court has issued a Preliminary Injunction prohibiting further collusion. The Memorandum Decision is 155 pages. Most of it consists of extensive findings of fact and evidence of the collusion. Here are the key summary parts from the introduction and conclusion (emphasis added):

This case is about the Free Speech Clause in the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. The explosion of social-media platforms has resulted in unique free speech issues— this is especially true in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. If the allegations made by Plaintiffs are true, the present case arguably involves the most massive attack against free speech in United States’ history. In their attempts to suppress alleged disinformation, the Federal Government, and particularly the Defendants named here, are alleged to have blatantly ignored the First Amendment’s right to free speech.

Although the censorship alleged in this case almost exclusively targeted conservative speech, the issues raised herein go beyond party lines….

    ***

The Plaintiffs are likely to succeed on the merits in establishing that the Government has used its power to silence the opposition. Opposition to COVID-19 vaccines; opposition to COVID-19 masking and lockdowns; opposition to the lab-leak theory of COVID-19; opposition to the validity of the 2020 election; opposition to President Biden’s policies; statements that the Hunter Biden laptop story was true; and opposition to policies of the government officials in power. All were suppressed. It is quite telling that each example or category of suppressed speech was conservative in nature. This targeted suppression of conservative ideas is a perfect example of viewpoint discrimination of political speech. American citizens have the right to engage in free debate about the significant issues affecting the country.

Although this case is still relatively young, and at this stage the Court is only examining it in terms of Plaintiffs’ likelihood of success on the merits, the evidence produced thus far depicts an almost dystopian scenario. During the COVID-19 pandemic, a period perhaps best characterized by widespread doubt and uncertainty, the United States Government seems to have assumed a role similar to an Orwellian “Ministry of Truth.”721”

  5. In order to find the criminal, they’d have to actually look for him, soooooo……

    Yeah, won’t happen.

Cameras everywhere, but nope, won’t find a thing, because they won’t look.

  11. Was it Hunter? or did Donald Jr leave some behind? Lets face it – no one cares. Cocaine is back and used like its the 70s – police aren’t going to investigate upper middle class white men for a crime many rich people do every weekend. Now if it was crack……

To lower suicide risk for those who identify as transgender, we need not focus on “treatment” rather acceptance, care and love. Put aside your own opinion and just accept and support people.

The court decision is activist and micromanaging. Howls of protest would occur if Republicans were prevented from influencing social media or any other institution which they thought would affect an election. Imagine if Republicans were banned from calling Zuckerberg to cmttee mtg because it would be seen as influencing or pressuring social media.

Happy Treason Day is the best meme on the 4th.

  12. HRW – I think you will agree with me that acceptance doesn’t have to mean agreement. I think of it as “I accept you as a valuable human being.”

  13. Not that I would say those exact words, because they do sound rather clunky. Acceptance is more of an attitude than a statement.

  14. Accept them and support them? You mean those seen on the White House lawn baring their privates in front of the world while snuggling up to the President? You mean those shaking their private parts in front of children during their pride parade? Those who are demanding not only affirmation but conformity and if you don’t we will send you to jail and take away your children????? Those people???? NO!!!
