A fun news story about the Peachtree Road race (4th of July annual Atlanta event). The 90÷ lady is who I served with, among others, in children’s Sunday school at the church that dissolved and became the church I most recently left.
Children here are out picking pie cherries again. Still a lot to process from yesterday’s picking but it should get done. They are properly incentivized with a bit of cherry baking this morning.
Ha, Kare!
And hello everyone! I was awakened at about 3:30 this morning by chattering birds. Judging by the location of the uproar, I fear a cardinals nest may have been raided by the owl. There are at least 2 pairs of cardinals nesting nearby, and they have been a joy to watch and listen to.
I hope they’re alright. The noise continued for 30 or 40 minutes. I never did get soundly back to sleep, so I decided not to go in for early overtime this morning. And life goes on. You just never know when it’s going to go on without you. I’m thankful for every day I have with those I love and care about. And that includes all of you. :–)
Such a beautiful header, AJ. Love the colors.

Good morning all. A beautiful day here. My dad has been up and shaved. Once at two this morning and again at five.

Morning! We woke up to rain falling in this forest! Totally unexpected and lovely!
Beautiful emerging foliage up there!!! Fresh, new and alive! My first thought was “ballerina tutus”!! ❣️
Janice that was such a sweet tribute to family tenacity!! Good for Granny being an inspiration !

How do these mistakes happen? Surely I am not making them all!

Auto correct correcting badly!!! Oh the words that function has switched to instead of my intended word…. Downright scandalous!!!

My auto correct has been turned off for years now for that reason, but still . . .

My mistakes like that are generally because I mistyped but every now and then…I wonder.

The funniest autocorrect mistake I’ve seen was “neutering children” rather than the intended “nurturing”. 😀

I was sending an email: “Hi, Lexy….”
I’m very glad I caught what auto correct changed it to!
