  1. Good morning!
    The header is from the deck at Downwind, our favorite outdoor dining spot at Peachtree Dekalb Airport.

    It was the best weather with beautiful clouds last week. I feel I like it so much because of its open expanse like at the beach . . . room to clear the head

    Atlanta keeps growing and pressing in with few open spaces.

  11. Michelle, that place we went was 57th Fighter Squadron or some such name which is just outside the fence surrounding the airport. This Downwind Restaurant is inside the airport and right by the hangers and control tower so people who are flying have a quick spot to get some good grub. This is a tiny place compared to the large restaurant outside the airport proper.

  12. This is the really cool place where Michelle treated us (my friend, Linda, and Art and me) to dinner. Michelle was blessed to stay at an efficency apartment unit arranged by Linda through me at the local Baptist owned retirement facility. It all worked out beautifully for Michelle to speak at a luncheon at the facility. And Michelle got to use my car since I could not drive at that time.😀
