  1. Morning!! That fox looks to be sleep walking!!😂
You capture the best photos AJ!!

Husband finished his 50 miler in 14 hours and had a great time…he said it was hard but good. He won the “dinosaur “ award… the oldest finisher of the race. 😂 It was his 9th Solstice run and he hopes to be back next year for his 10th.

  2. Your husband is amazing, NJ!

A husband and wife in my Sunday school class are long distant runners but not to that extent. They travel around for various races.

Son does half marathons, and I am amazed even by that! I only got up to three miles around a track at my best while college age.

Did you work up some mileage, NJ?

  3. Only in years dear Janice..only in years!!
I ran for a while but would only go 3 miles around the creek when we lived in town. I would run on the treadmill but that was not as enjoyable as being outdoors. I work out on the elliptical now while watching old movies!!

I was relieved when husband decided to only run 50’s and leave the world of 100’s. It can be brutal on the body and he finally realized he no longer wears a younger man’s clothes!

  4. Good morning, all. Another beautiful day here. Son in law was off to work at five, leaving me to wake the small folk, sending them to the end of the driveway to meet their mommy at six. Then prepare things to welcome my dad and prepare his breakfast for promptly at seven. (Looking around and brushing my hands together) my work here is done for today.

  5. You may remember that Nightingale had finally won sole custody of Boy due to X’s seriously messing up. It is up to her whether or not X can see Boy, and she allows him two hours in a weekend visit at his parents’ house, with at least one of them supervising.

Now X has had Nightingale served with papers for another custody hearing. He is claiming that she is not allowing him to have more time with Boy, and asking for full weekend visits from Saturday morning to Sunday evening, UNsupervised. (I’m not sure if he means every weekend or every other weekend, but I assume it is the latter.)

But as I said, the court has left it up to her whether or not X sees Boy, and for how long, so this seems like a baseless complaint. Even so, it is causing Nightingale stress and frustration, and means another day at court.

X says he wants Boy for that amount of time, and yet sometimes does not stick around for the whole two hours he is allowed. A couple weekends ago, he left half an hour early because he had “something to do”.

  6. Sorry to hear that she is again dealing with the same old same old, Kizzie. It sounds like he is thoroughly emotion driven and not using any wisdom. But those who are not in the least seeking to be directed by our orderly God will thus be driven this way and that.

Divorce and its fallout adversely affecting children and other family members is such evidence that we inhabit a fallen world where sin and its effect is inescapable. Just sad to hear it is happening again. Another reminder of how much Nightingale needs the solid strength of our never wavering God in her life.🙏

  7. Thanks Janice… I just bought the kindle book for free!😂

Kizzie keeping your girl in prayer… that she would look to Him when faced with these frustrating manipulations from X…oh that she would truly know from whence comes her true hope and peace ❣️❣️❣️
