We have so much smoke again that it seems quite gloomy. Some of it may still be from Canada, but there is also a fire in The Boundary Waters, so it may be from there. Our county is not allowing open fires because of the drought.
So Joanne is not Jo? Okay. I guess I forget who Joanne is. Happy Birthday, whoever you are!
Yesterday we had a power outage early in the AM. Later we noticed our Internet provider sent an email saying there was a service outage. How are we supposed to get that email if there is a service outage?
Second day with no rain and warmer temps. The furnace is officially set on the off position for the first time this year!!
I love those old gas pumps and I cannot recall the last I saw a pay phone! Preserving some memories of the past is a good thing!!! I saw two antique cars on the road yesterday on my way to church…now that brings a smile to me!! My Dad instilled the love of old cars in his little girls hearts.
Yesterday while driving to church, I saw a mom or nanny pulling a wagon with a child in it. I considered the invention of the wheel at that point, and how much of a difference that made🎡🦽🚲🛴🛹🚖🚜🏍🚛✈ , and all the gears used to make things work and where we would have been if there had been a delay in that invention.
My ninety five year old uncle won’t move in with his children because he is too dedicated to the studebaker museum and his garage full of studebaker parts. He has my brothers as studebaker enthusiasts as well.
I had my second appointment at the Emory campus today, this one for PT. Did all exercise, stretching, and weight punching (use a weight held in the hand above the body with arm outstretched and not bent at the elbow doing upward punches and then pretend painting in circles one way and then the other.
Happy Birthday Ajisuun!
And good afternoon to all!
I’m losing lots of sleep these days while Teddy is being trained. Cyrus has him all day, so when I get home at 10:30pm, he’s all Mama’s boy until I leave for work the next day.
Oh Debra that reminds me of when the kids were little. Some days and I do mean soooome days as soon as husband returned from work I was waiting at the door…”here…they’re allll yours”!!!! And off I went…usually to the grocery!!! 😂
Jin tore up the King pad in her crate. Crate training didn’t work out.
1. Someone bought a crate that was too big.
2. Someone is a sucker for a cute little girl.
3. The other person can’t fight them bought AND Jim is at heart a mama’s girl.
Another day with my littles. I had a lot planned and it went well. That is until I made a brief stop at the lake and they loved it. Until grandson cut his foot and wanted his mom. I took them home quickly. After he got his hug he was fine. I kept them very busy and they brought my two trash cans up from the street. The little girl is not being so obnoxious any more. She is even fastening her own seat belt instead of whining for someone else to do it.
The things you see while driving thru rural PA..
I guess the guy liked collecting old gas pumps and signs.
My favorite thing though is the pay phone on the left by the Texaco sign. You don’t see them around here anymore at all.

Happy Birthday, Joanne.
I hope she will check-in here today. I see her posts on Facebook. And Roscuro/Phos had a nice post about her Dad for Father’s Day.
It was stormy at 7 so I asked Art to take me for my routine doctor’s appt. All is okay, but we’re still keeping watch over my BP.

We have car shows at so many of the small towns around us, so we see a lot of old restored cars or interesting street rods on the roads.

Rain rain go away… Kim has too much to do and Miss Jim is allergic to getting her paws wet.
I am enjoying my latest book by our favorite author. Overflowing Faith.
It is amazing the influence one person can have.
