Morning!
The sun made a sneak peek this morning but alas it is now hidden by clouds. The rains came yesterday accompanied with pea sized hail. We escaped the brunt force however. Areas just to the north of us are assessing the damage having over a foot of hail and washed out roads. We are in for it again for the next couple of days.
I love that photo up there. I am seeing those little johnny jump ups all over the place…they do seem to be a hardy flower…
Thunderstorms rolling through again. Still not caught up on the mowing. Still have three pastures to cut. Sometimes I miss my goats and sheep but even with them I had to mow.
We saw some thunderstorms but once again dodged the bullet of hail! Many parts of the county and up north and east were hit with force as was down south in Canon City…golf ball size hail and some larger.
Sun is shining now and the air is so fresh. Round one zillionth moves in tomorrow and then a reprieve for Wednesday. 😊 I wanna sheep!! 🐑
I was so far behind on my Bible study that it took me almost all day, off and on, to finish the weekly lesson. I need to do some every single day and not let it pile up. I do my online study most days, but let this second study slip at times.
Interesting day with the littles. I needed to stop at the store and was immediately told what they wanted me to buy for them. I must admit that is what the others do. And ten grandson wanted me to take him to the new Target. No way
The photo was taken with my phone, so it’s not that good.
But I was impressed with the little violet’s will to grow, no matter it’s location. 🙂

Peter,
That fish was alive, I swear. 🙂
I unhooked it, laid it there, snapped a pic, and a second later it flopped off into the water and swam away.

What a picture of tenacity, AJ. It would make a good poster for a college dorm room . . .
“Breakthrough the hard times and bloom!”
Have a great Monday, Y’all!
Keep blooming through thick and thin! I am doing Bible study catch-up today for group time tomorrow.

Good morning. The fish was laid on a rock so was on its side.
I love finding violets in odd places.

Ghost River by Jon Koon is also free on Kindle at Amazon. These books may have appeal more for men, maybe a treat for Father’s Day?
