Psalm 64
For the director of music. A psalm of David.
1 Hear me, my God, as I voice my complaint;
protect my life from the threat of the enemy.
2 Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked,
from the plots of evildoers.
3 They sharpen their tongues like swords
and aim cruel words like deadly arrows.
4 They shoot from ambush at the innocent;
they shoot suddenly, without fear.
5 They encourage each other in evil plans,
they talk about hiding their snares;
they say, “Who will see it?”
6 They plot injustice and say,
“We have devised a perfect plan!”
Surely the human mind and heart are cunning.
7 But God will shoot them with his arrows;
they will suddenly be struck down.
8 He will turn their own tongues against them
and bring them to ruin;
all who see them will shake their heads in scorn.
9 All people will fear;
they will proclaim the works of God
and ponder what he has done.
10 The righteous will rejoice in the Lord
and take refuge in him;
all the upright in heart will glory in him!
Wandering Views 
An update on the family I asked you to pray for last week.
Baby Belle was born last Friday, March 17. She weighed 3 pounds and was 15 inches long.
The potential adoptive mother showed up at the hospital and set off “alarm bells” with the nurses in NICU and several other people. Eventually one of the nurses actually ended up calling for legal advice on how to handle it. Another nurse strongly encouraged the mother to go see the baby. So as you may have guessed by now Baby Belle will be going home in a month or so to her Mommy and Big Sister.
This is a very tight knit family. My friend ( the grandmother) is the baby of her family with 5 older brothers and a father who is in his 90’s. The Patriarch( Mr. S) called a family meeting last Saturday and rallied everyone around. Big Brothers are combining funds to help Mommy and her two children get through until the Mommy can return to work. Then the joke is that they will be opening The Brothers Daycare with their wives to take care of the new baby. Mommy is a surgical tech at a local hospital. One of the anesthesiologists came to see the baby and told the family that the surgical team would be putting together a baby shower to make sure they have everything they need when Baby Belle comes home.
I will be making my own contribution at some point. I told my friend Monday I was jealous of the support she has…but jealous in a good way.
This is the best of all possible outcomes. Mommy was only giving up the baby because she thought she was going to have to do everything alone. Family proved that she isn’t and that little girl is going to be raised with so much love.

Thank you for that wonderful update, Kim. I am sorry for the disappointment of the prospective adoptive parents, but it’s so much better if the child is raised in her own biological loving family if possible.

Update Week 2 Thursday. Jessica had a great night but again she’s had a fever so they had to do the cooling blanket again. They ran another set of cultures on everything yesterday just to make sure she doesn’t have any new bacteria growing anywhere that is causing the fever. But again head injuries are known for transient high fevers but they want to make sure there isn’t another cause. They did an ultrasound on her arms and legs looking for clots as well and didn’t find any. Jessica is on the wait list today for surgery today but they are still feeding her so I think its unlikely they will take her to surgery today but keep praying its first thing tomorrow if not today because if its not today or tomorrow it’ll be Monday and we are almost at two weeks now and it needs to get fixed. She was awake a lot yesterday and wasn’t agitated so that was good. Nothing new today, just hanging out
with Jessica. She really likes the messages people send to her so if anyone wants to record a voice message and text or messenger it to me, I’ll play it for her or read it to her. Thanks everyone for the prayers and support!

Thankful for the family and precious Belle. All’s right with the world. Oh that well appointed encouragement of the nurse for Mom to see her babe. May our Lord bring revelation to them that He is indeed at work in their lives…to Him all glory, honor and praise! ♥️ we shall continue to pray for sweet new beginnings…

I knew a woman who would have had an abortion, except that at the time she was forced to tell her parents first. They did support her and she had a baby girl who grew up to be a wonderful woman. It is so easy to think we are all alone and to be afraid. I am so glad everyone is supporting her.
