A song of ascents.
1 Blessed are all who fear the Lord,
who walk in obedience to him.

Prayer for a brother in church today. His firstborn son died last night, leaving a wife and three young children. He is a believer and was before he arrived in the Presence of God.

Prayers Mumsee for your needs. God is the One who knows how much we can take and I pray that your stretching is accompanied by flexibilty and inner strength from Him.
I never could imagine doing what you did to help all the young and needy that the two of you took in. I feel sure all that stretching is serving you well now in accumulated practice in endurance, grace, and patience.
May you feel His love carrying you through all this heavy burden.

OK, finally got my treatment dates.
The first is next Tuesday morning at 930am.
Then every Tuesday morning for 5 additional weeks ending on Jan 24th.
Yay me. 😦

I probably should have mentioned this earlier. For some reason – and I admit that it could merely be due to my imagination, which can be over-active at times – I have had the feeling all day that Chickadee needs extra prayer today. I don’t know why (if it is indeed a nudge from the Holy Spirit), whether it is for safety or that she is on the verge of turning to God or turning away from the transgender deception or feeling suicidal or what. But my heart has felt burdened for her even more than usual today.
So please pray with me that God will help her in whatever way she needs help, that the Holy Spirit will get through to her, etc. Thank you.

Baby Harper weighed 4 pounds, 5 ounces today. They’re trying to convince/teach her to drink from a bottle. She’s wearing clothes, and is loved by the nurses. ( sent her a onesie with the words, “Fearfully and Wonderfully Made.”)
No news of when she’s coming home, and my friend is not anxious–“it’s going to be hard with a newborn!”
Mom looked terrific in a photo I saw yesterday on FB and today learned her chemo is working!
I got this wonderful message this afternoon. Here are the details:
The two “tumor markers” (expressions of the cancer that are measurable in blood tests) they’re tracking have improved each round: CEA went from 80 to 20 to 8 as of today (10k to 9k to 6k.
She had a physical today and the lymph nodes in her neck that were really enlarged are back to normal size! 💪💪
