It’s Friday, so please remember to pray for Mumsee, Mike, and the Nestlings.
Anyone else?
Psalm 28
Of David.
1 To you, Lord, I call;
you are my Rock,
do not turn a deaf ear to me.
For if you remain silent,
I will be like those who go down to the pit.
2 Hear my cry for mercy
as I call to you for help,
as I lift up my hands
toward your Most Holy Place.
3 Do not drag me away with the wicked,
with those who do evil,
who speak cordially with their neighbors
but harbor malice in their hearts.
4 Repay them for their deeds
and for their evil work;
repay them for what their hands have done
and bring back on them what they deserve.
5 Because they have no regard for the deeds of the Lord
and what his hands have done,
he will tear them down
and never build them up again.
6 Praise be to the Lord,
for he has heard my cry for mercy.
7 The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.
My heart leaps for joy,
and with my song I praise him.
8 The Lord is the strength of his people,
a fortress of salvation for his anointed one.
9 Save your people and bless your inheritance;
be their shepherd and carry them forever.
Continued prayer for grandson. And for the stress his parents are under as they have made this decision, The morphine is working to ease his discomfort. The docs have all said he has an enormous tolerance for pain and the morphine is showing that. He has been in a lot of discomfort/pain.

Prayers for ease in his transition, Mumsee. In heaven there is no more pain. Praising God for that.

He is such a bundle of joy. He loves to laugh. Wish I were on the receiving end when he arrives in Heaven. (and people can debate whether or not he will be there but I expect to see him there).

Tears, Mumsee, over this wound deep in the heart. Joy, too, but tears to read it and think of the loss. God is watching over you all today and ministering as only He knows how, motivated by His great love urged on by praying Brothers and Sisters in Christ.

Mumsee, I am so sorry for the loss of your grandson’s precious little life. Trusting in the mercy of our Saviour, who took the little children in his arms, that your grandson is now whole and well with Him.

Thank you all for your kind words and many prayers that God has heard for this little guy over the past two plus years.

I cry and immediately a picture of him running and playing and laughing and talking and seeing and hearing like he never could on earth pops into my mind. Weeping and laughter indeed. (Well, he could laugh!)

I do not know exactly what Heaven is going to be like, but I keep wondering if Elvera has met little Akiah yet. She used to be a faithful pray er for his mom and then probably for him as well as she could. Wouldn’t that be fun?
