Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 143
A psalm of David.
1 Lord, hear my prayer,
listen to my cry for mercy;
in your faithfulness and righteousness
come to my relief.
2 Do not bring your servant into judgment,
for no one living is righteous before you.
3 The enemy pursues me,
he crushes me to the ground;
he makes me dwell in the darkness
like those long dead.
4 So my spirit grows faint within me;
my heart within me is dismayed.
5 I remember the days of long ago;
I meditate on all your works
and consider what your hands have done.
6 I spread out my hands to you;
I thirst for you like a parched land.
7 Answer me quickly, Lord;
my spirit fails.
Do not hide your face from me
or I will be like those who go down to the pit.
8 Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,
for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go,
for to you I entrust my life.
9 Rescue me from my enemies, Lord,
for I hide myself in you.
10 Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God;
may your good Spirit
lead me on level ground.
11 For your name’s sake, Lord, preserve my life;
in your righteousness, bring me out of trouble.
12 In your unfailing love, silence my enemies;
destroy all my foes,
for I am your servant.
Still lifting Kare in her loss of Keva.♡

A couple of days ago, husband’s ninety five year old dad fell. He was out in his driveway, using his table saw to cut some wood for a project. He got himself up but his eighty seven year old wife saw his distress and brought him his walker. But the walker collapsed and she fell too. Quite the picture, I imagine. Anyway, he got a bunch of stitches but apparently nobody broke anything. Husband needs to work with his siblings on how they can help them. They live in Florida, a couple of hours from her daughter. But they see more of husband and his siblings who live in Idaho and Nevada. But husband is caught up in figuring out plans for daughter. I won’t ask for more time in a day, but for more wisdom and direction.

Those independent ones are a challenge! You have to admire them and yet it gets worrisome. Glad there were no broken bones!
I have an uncle over ninety who is on his deathbed also. Little by little that generation is passing on.

My husband reminded me today that we’re now considered old. “We’re grandparents, remember? We need to think like the older generation.”
Yes, but . . .

This is the Facebook page for the “Castle Conjoined Twins” for those who may be interested. (I’ve posted about them previously.) After having surgery a month ago, they are no longer conjoined, but are still in the hospital dealing with various situations, and may be there for quite a while more. There was a new update last night.
It’s a public page, so I think that even non-Facebook users can see it, but if not, and you are interested, I can copy-&-paste the update here.

Thank you all, for your prayers. Today has been a better day, mostly because we weren’t up all last night. A good sleep really helps.
Mumsee, continuing to pray for your ‘extended nest’
