Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 75
1 We praise you, God,
we praise you, for your Name is near;
people tell of your wonderful deeds.
2 You say, “I choose the appointed time;
it is I who judge with equity.
3 When the earth and all its people quake,
it is I who hold its pillars firm.
4 To the arrogant I say, ‘Boast no more,’
and to the wicked, ‘Do not lift up your horns.
5 Do not lift your horns against heaven;
do not speak so defiantly.’”
6 No one from the east or the west
or from the desert can exalt themselves.
7 It is God who judges:
He brings one down, he exalts another.
8 In the hand of the Lord is a cup
full of foaming wine mixed with spices;
he pours it out, and all the wicked of the earth
drink it down to its very dregs.
9 As for me, I will declare this forever;
I will sing praise to the God of Jacob,
10 who says, “I will cut off the horns of all the wicked,
but the horns of the righteous will be lifted up.”
There is a lot of hurt and pain and past history with R and me.
Please pray for her. Her father’s funeral made it clear he was a Christian and a good man. She made a comment last night to play of us that clearly they didn’t know him. I’m not sure what that’s all about. I had only seen him in 2003 and that was the first time since we were in 8th grade.
The past history comes feom something my mother did and is the reason I was miserable at the Christian school we attended.

The reverberation of sin is something we seldom think about and yet affects us all profoundly.
I think mumsee said something about a check yesterday. Perhaps she has one in the mail for each of us? I think we need a laughing emoji on the blog.

My prayer I shared with my Bible study group is for God to help me not put negative thoughts about people based on hurtful words or actions on a shelf in my brain to pull out and use against the person at a later date. I know the Bible says to not worry about things in the future because today has enough worries of it’s own. That goes along with the past. There is no go back and redo, except sometimes with maturity we do get to understand better the whole scenario and give grace. Kim, I pray for a fresh start with R if possible and in God’s will. May the past be buried and the future bright. You are not that little hurt girl any more. God brought you through all that to your being the thriving person you are now. I hope R can move on, too. I don’t think I fully grasp the whole scenario with R but I hope that what I wrote is somewhat applicable.

Kathaleena, that was a check mark, indicating answer to the prayer for Kim. No more nonsense on here. Really, what do they teach the children in schools these days. Never mind.

Besides, a monetary check is correctly spelled cheque.

Only in some bizarre other world. Where they drop half the letters in a word.
