  1. The ties between Dems and the Chinese just became much clearer…….

    https://legalinsurrection.com/2021/03/china-weaponizes-social-justice-warriors-and-black-lives-matter-in-covert-war-against-the-u-s/

“China Weaponizes Social Justice Warriors and Black Lives Matter In Covert War Against the U.S.

Beijing wages all-out campaign to sow chaos and discord in the US.”

“With President Joe Biden in the White House, Communist China is waging a vicious campaign of sowing chaos and discord in American society.

The opening salvo in this all-out campaign was fired at the U.S.-China summit in Alaska on March 19. The Chinese delegation, besides publicly humiliating the Biden administration, used the summit to accused the U.S. of “deep-seated” racism. Chinese representatives referred to the propaganda put out by the BLM movement to accuse the U.S. of ‘slaughtering’ Black Americans.

The same day, China used the floor of the U.N. General Assembly to make similar claims. China’s deputy U.N. Ambassador Dai Bing accused the U.S of “deep-seated problems of racial discrimination, social injustice and police brutality.”

Beijing—while waging a genocidal campaign against Tibetan and Uyghur people at home—issued a “human rights” report on the U.S. on Wednesday.

The Chinese propaganda report, laden with social justice lingo, was aimed at ethnic minorities in America. Blacks were subject to “unchecked police violence” and Asian Americans were targets of “racial bullying,” the document claimed.

“The ethnic minorities in the United States are devastated by racial discrimination, and racism exists in a comprehensive, systematic and continuous manner,” the Chinese state-run TV channel CGTN reported citing the report.

Opposition to Beijing’s policies are falsely equated by the CCP-controlled state media to Sinophobia, racial hatred towards people of Chinese ethnicity. The Chinese Communist mouthpiece newspaper Global Times recently wrote that the “US government’s increased hostility toward China and the continued festering legacy of former president Donald Trump, deep-seated hatred toward Asians will continue to loom over America and further tear it apart.”

The narrative is peddled on social media by Chinese officials and surrogates. This week, China’s state media and leading Chinese diplomats supported the #StopAsianHate on Twitter, portraying the U.S. as a hostile place for Asian and other minorities.

While the people of China are forbidden from using global social media platform like Twitter and Facebook, Chinese troll farms were amplifying the party-line and spewing anti-U.S. hate.

The tactics adopted by Beijing’s surrogates and the regime-run media are right out of the playbook written by Saul Alinsky in the early 1970s. Alinsky, a Chicago-based agitator in 1950s and 60s, was one of the first leftist theoreticians to argue the use of identity politics to achieve the left’s political aims. In his handbook ‘Rules for Radicals,’ Alinsky calls upon the leftist activists to recruit minorities and identity groups for their ideological warfare by stoking their grievances.
Alinsky’s notorious handbook, aptly dedicated to Lucifer for rebelling against the heavenly order, has shaped the minds of leading leftists politicians and activists of our age, including Democrat stalwarts like Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

In keeping with the teaching of Alinsky and other cultural Marxists of the 60s, the left in America abandoned the working class as preferred tool for their class warfare and focused on racial, gender, and other identities to wage an all-out cultural war against American society.”

  2. If you didn’t vote for Trump, you helped build this, so enjoy the suck.

    https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/news/nation-world/story/2021-03-29/white-house-dramatically-increased-tax-proposal-as-it-sought-to-address-tensions-over-next-big-spending-plan

“White House dramatically increased tax proposal amid tension over next big spending plan”

“When President Joe Biden’s team began putting together his infrastructure and jobs package this February, the White House National Economic Council circulated an internal proposal calling for about $3 trillion in new spending and $1 trillion in new tax hikes, according to three people with knowledge of the matter.

But soon enough, some members of the economic team second-guessed themselves, concerned that the plan could jeopardize the nation’s long-term financial stability. The officials worried that the large gap between spending and revenue would widen the deficit by such a large degree that it could risk triggering a spike in interest rates, which could in turn cause federal debt payments to skyrocket, said the people familiar with the matter.

Partially in response, the two-pronged package Biden will begin unveiling this week includes higher amounts of federal spending but also significantly more in new tax revenue – with possibly as much as $4 trillion in new spending and more than $3 trillion in tax increases, said the people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe private dynamics.

The choice to limit the impact on the federal deficit may help the White House counter critics who say that the nation’s spending imbalance is out of control. But it also sets up the administration for an enormous political challenge in convincing Congress to pass a package of tax increases on wealthy Americans and companies that together would represent the largest tax hike in generations.”

  3. Hypocrites and double standards.

    https://hotair.com/archives/john-s-2/2021/03/29/voxs-coverage-border-crisis-changed-lot-2-years/

“Today I came across this lengthy explainer at Vox titled “9 questions about the humanitarian crisis on the border, answered.” The piece is clearly meant to be a review of the overall situation but I was struck by the mild tone, even when discussing the fact that the Biden administration is arguably reviving what used to be called “kids in cages” and not allowing journalists access to the sites to see for themselves. I found myself thinking ‘this isn’t how I remember Vox covering this during the Trump administration.’

And sure enough it isn’t. I looked back and found this piece from June 2019. It’s titled, “The horrifying conditions facing kids in border detention, explained.” Here’s a sample:

At any given time, for the past several weeks, more than 2,000 children have been held in the custody of US Border Patrol without their parents. Legally, they’re not supposed to be held by border agents for more than 72 hours before being sent to the Department of Health and Human Services, which is responsible for finding their nearest relative in the US to house them while their immigration cases are adjudicated.

In practice, they’re being held for days, sometimes weeks, in facilities without enough food or toothbrushes — going days without showering, overcrowded and undercared for.

Late last week, the conditions of that detention in one facility in Clint, Texas, became public when investigators, checking on the US government’s obligations under the Flores agreement (which governs the care of immigrant children in US custody), were so horrified that they turned into public whistleblowers and spoke to the Associated Press about what they saw…

The story gained even wider traction after Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-NY) reference to the detention facilities as “concentration camps,” and the ensuing debate over whether that term was appropriate.

You get the idea. The Trump administration was openly saying it had a crisis on its hands but the press was in full outrage mode. There was outrage about the 2,000 children being held by the CBP longer than 72 hours, horror over the conditions they were in. And as noted above, AOC was comparing the facilities to concentration camps. Vox, at least in this piece, wasn’t willing to disagree with her.

Now let’s jump forward to two days ago and see how Vox is covering the situation now. There are approximately 5,000 children in the same conditions with 3,000 being held over the 72 hour limit. The situation is twice as bad as it was in 2019. Is Vox twice as outraged?

The southern border is presenting President Joe Biden with a major humanitarian, political, and logistical challenge.

The left is criticizing the administration’s inhumane treatment of record numbers of unaccompanied migrant children arriving from Central America as thousands are being kept in jail-like facilities — the same “cages” that drew condemnation in 2019 under then-President Donald Trump. The right is falsely claiming that Biden inherited a secure border from his predecessor and that his policies have led to a national security crisis.

Meanwhile, media coverage of the border has been hyperbolic, depicting a “surge” of migrants overwhelming the US border. Five of the nine reporters at Biden’s press conference on Thursday asked questions about immigration.

Wow! The tone is quite different. In the very first paragraph, Vox adopts the language the Biden administration has been using, calling the situation a “challenge.” Then in the second paragraph the author claims the left is criticizing the administration for keeping kids in “cages.” Really? Because most of the people I’ve seen bringing up the “kids in cages” language have been on the right. And I certainly don’t see anyone on the left talking about concentration camps this time around.

In the third paragraph, the author accuses the media of being hyperbolic about the situation! Hello, Vox 2021 I’d like to introduce you to Vox 2019. Clearly, you haven’t met. The rest of the story is more of the same. It eventually does circle back to the kids in cages issue. “

  4. Nope, no crisis here…..

    https://legalinsurrection.com/2021/03/border-crisis-surge-dhs-expects-500000-800000-family-group-illegal-migrants-in-2021/

“Border Crisis Surge: DHS Expects 500,000-800,000 Family Group Illegal Migrants in 2021

Biden admin said they expel families. But the CBP data shows officials turned away “only about 10 to 20 percent” of the families at the border.”

“According to The Washington Post, phase two of the migration surge at the border could contain a lot of families:

DHS expects approximately 500,000 to 800,000 migrants to arrive as part of a family group during the 2021 fiscal year that ends in September, a quantity that would equal or exceed the record numbers who entered in 2019, according to government data reviewed by The Washington Post. Officials are racing to find facilities to house these families ahead of their release, along with additional staff to process an increase in humanitarian and asylum claims.

The estimate is based on what has already been a vertiginous increase since President Biden took office Jan. 20. This month, the number of family members taken into U.S. Customs and Border Protection [CBP] custody is on pace to reach nearly 50,000, up from 7,000 in January, the latest government data show. The highest one-month total, 88,587, was recorded in May 2019, during a year when more than 525,000 migrants arrived as part of a family group.

President Joe Biden’s administration claims it expels families back to Mexico due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But the CBP data shows officials turned away “only about 10 to 20 percent” of the families.

The paperwork has overwhelmed the agents. They issue the rest of the families “a notice to appear in court.” CBP has never done that before on such a large scale.

Do you think many will follow through? I’m not getting up my hopes. Retired Border Patrol Chief Roy Villareal agrees:”

Villareal, who was Border Patrol chief in Arizona’s busy Tucson sector, said agents are especially concerned that the practice of releasing families with blank paperwork and without a notice to appear in court will generate more illegal crossings.”

  5. While no one was paying attention, the FBI admitted it had nothing on Trump, but no one was told this until after the election when it was declassified this year.

Total abuse, and a massive fraud on America. Blame Dems, the FBI, and the media.

    https://www.realclearinvestigations.com/articles/2021/03/30/meet_the_russiagate_prober_who_couldnt_verify_anything_in_the_steele_dossier_yet_said_nothing_for_years_769667.html

“For the past four years, Democrats and the Washington media have suspended disbelief about the Steele dossier’s credibility by arguing that some Russia allegations against Donald Trump and his advisers have been corroborated and therefore the most explosive charges may also be true. But recently declassified secret testimony by the FBI official in charge of corroborating the dossier blows up that narrative.

The top analyst assigned to the FBI’s Russia “collusion” case, codenamed Crossfire Hurricane, admitted under oath that neither he nor his team of half a dozen intelligence analysts could confirm any of the allegations in the dossier — including ones the FBI nonetheless included in several warrant applications as evidence to establish legal grounds to electronically monitor a former Trump adviser for almost a year.

FBI Supervisory Intelligence Analyst Brian Auten made the admission under questioning by staff investigators for the Senate Judiciary Committee during closed-door testimony in October. The committee only this year declassified the transcript, albeit with a number of redactions including the name of Auten, who was identified by congressional sources who spoke on condition of anonymity.

“So with respect to the Steele reporting,” Auten told the committee, “the actual allegations and the actions described in those reports could not be corroborated.”

After years of digging, Auten conceded that the only material in the dossier that he could verify was information that was already publicly available, such as names, entities, and positions held by persons mentioned in the document.

His testimony, kept secret for several months, is eye-opening because it’s the first time anybody from the FBI has acknowledged headquarters failed to verify any of the dossier evidence supporting the wiretaps as true and correct.

As one of the FBI’s leading experts on Russia, Auten was highly familiar with the subject matter of the dossier and the Russian players it cited. He also had a team of intelligence analysts at his disposal to pore over the material and chase down leads. They even traveled overseas to interview the dossier’s author, former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele, and other sources.

Still, they could not corroborate any of the allegations of Trump-Russia “collusion” in the dossier, and actually debunked many of them — including the rumor, oft-repeated by the media, that Trump attorney Michael Cohen flew to Prague in the summer of 2016 to secretly huddle with Kremlin agents over an alleged Trump-Russia plot to hack the election. They determined that Cohen had never even been to the Czech Republic.

Yet Auten and his Crossfire teammates — who referred to the dossier as “Crown material,” as if it were valuable intelligence from America’s closest ally, Britain — never informed a secret surveillance court that the dossier was a bust. Instead, they used it as the basis for all four warrant applications to spy on Carter Page, a tangential 2016 Trump campaign adviser. Former acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe, who personally signed and approved the final application, has testified that without the dossier, the warrants could not have been obtained.

Financed by the Hillary Clinton campaign in 2016 as opposition research against Trump, the dossier was used by the FBI to obtain Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court warrants to eavesdrop on Page from October 2016 to September 2017. A U.S. citizen, Page was accused of being a Russian agent, even though he previously assisted both the CIA and FBI in their efforts to hold Moscow in check. He was never charged with a crime and at least half the warrants have since been invalidated by the court. Page is now suing the FBI, as well as Auten, among other individual defendants, and is seeking a total of $75 million in damages.

The bureau’s handling of the warrants is part of Special Counsel John Durham’s ongoing investigation into the government’s targeting of Trump and his campaign during the election, and later, the Trump presidency. In January, Durham secured a criminal conviction against top Crossfire lawyer Kevin Clinesmith for falsifying evidence against Page to help justify the last warrant issued in June 2017.

It could not be ascertained whether Durham has interviewed Auten — a spokesman did not return messages — but Auten has hired one of the top white-collar criminal defense lawyers in Washington. And former federal law enforcement officials say Auten is certainly on Durham’s witness list.

“That analyst needs to be investigated,” said former assistant FBI director and prosecutor Chris Swecker, noting that Auten is a central, if overlooked, figure in the FISA abuse scandal — and one who attended several meetings with McCabe in the Durham case. In fact, the 52-year-old analyst shows up at every major juncture in the Crossfire investigation.”

  6. Thank God for the governors of Florida and Texas…

    https://www.theepochtimes.com/mkt_breakingnews/gov-desantis-to-take-executive-emergency-action-against-vaccine-passports_3753968.html

“Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said in a press conference on March 29 that he will take emergency executive action shortly against the concept of Americans needing a vaccine passport to be able to travel domestically and internationally.

“We’re not supportive of that. I think it’s something that people have certain freedoms and individual liberties to make decisions for themselves,” the governor said.

“It’s completely unacceptable for either the government or the private sector to impose upon you the requirement that you show proof of vaccine to just simply be able to participate in normal society.””

  7. https://www.theepochtimes.com/mkt_morningbrief/majority-of-families-crossing-border-are-released-into-united-states_3753884.html

“The Biden administration has moved away from sending families back across the border using the COVID-19 emergency measure called Title 42.

Now the vast majority (upwards of 85 percent) of family units who are apprehended by Border Patrol after crossing the border illegally are quickly released into the United States.

On March 25, a total of 6,000 people were apprehended by Border Patrol along the southwest border, according to a senior Border Patrol official during a March 26 press call.

Of the 2,200 individuals within family units who were apprehended, 1,900 were released, while 300 were processed under Title 42 to be expelled, the official said.

“It’s a little higher percentage now than it was previously,” the official said regarding the volume being released into the interior. “We continue to try to leverage the Title 42 authorities as much as we possibly can.”

Most of the single adults being apprehended are still expelled under Title 42.

The families being released are either given a notice to appear containing a court date to begin their immigration proceedings, or given nothing and released “on their own recognizance,” the official said.

The Biden administration is under fire for overcrowded and unhealthy conditions at processing centers at the border, as well as for sending thousands of illegal immigrants all over the country while businesses and schools are still closed due to the pandemic.

A facility in Texas is squeezing up to 80 individuals into each 24-by-30-foot cell, according to a border agent who spoke to The Epoch Times.

“Unfortunately, on any given day we may have upwards of 9,000 people in custody, which certainly puts a strain on our resources,” said the border official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, for fear of repercussions.”

“Several hundred Hondurans set off for the Guatemalan border on Tuesday, seeking to reach the United States to escape the impact of the coronavirus pandemic and natural disasters, according to local media and a Reuters witness.

The group of migrants was the second large caravan to set out from Honduras this year, on the heels of catastrophic flooding in November from hurricanes Eta and Iota, which battered an economy that was already seriously struggling.”

  9. Oops! I posted this to yesterday’s thread. Here is what the legislature has on the agenda in Georgia:
“Parental Obscenity Appeal Act” SB 226 is designed to empower parents to appeal for the removal of obscene materials from GA public schools. This bill brings to light the obscene materials in our school libraries through physical books and the Galileo/Ebsco databases.

These materials glorify sexual assault, rape culture and violence against girls, children and women. Ebsco markets these materials to K-12 schools and consistently rank on the National Center on Sexual Exploitation’s “Dirty Dozen List”.
Also, check out the Protect Student Health website for more info”

Georgia is definitely Blue in this regard. So sad this has to be addressed.

“Outrage as migrant kids get in-person schooling before locals in San Diego”

“A California school district is arranging for migrant children to get in-person teaching — even as all local kids remain stuck in virtual classes.

The San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) confirmed to Fox News that it is “providing the educational program for the unaccompanied migrant children” staying at the San Diego Convention Center.

It sparked outrage from local parents, education leaders and lawmakers as local children remain in online-only classes until at least April 12, when the plan is to switch to a hybrid model.

“We have 130,000 kids who haven’t been allowed in a classroom for over a year,” San Diego County Supervisor Jim Desmond told Fox News.

“It’s great that there’s in-person learning for those unaccompanied minors from Central America, but I wish every child in San Diego County was allowed the same opportunity for in-person teaching,” he said.

Republican Rep. Darrell Issa also ripped the speedy offer of in-person education when local families have been “told to wait” for “more than a year” for the same chance.”

Local parent Emily Diaz called it “immoral.”

“The system is broken when San Diego teachers are teaching migrant children in person, but the 100k students of taxpaying families at San Diego Unified School District are stuck learning in Zoom school,”Diaz told Fox News in an email.”

The incident, which involved a National Park Service employee, took place on the White House South Lawn on Monday afternoon. The employee was working at the time and needed to stop in order to receive treatment from the White House medical unit.

First lady Jill Biden’s press secretary Michael LaRosa told CNN that Major is “still adjusting to his new surroundings.”
