Prayer Requests 2-25-21

It’s Thursday, so don’t forget to pray for Jo, her students, and the people of PNG.

Anyone else?

Psalm 20

A psalm of David.

May the Lord answer you when you are in distress;
may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.
May he send you help from the sanctuary
and grant you support from Zion.
May he remember all your sacrifices
    and accept your burnt offerings.
May he give you the desire of your heart
and make all your plans succeed.
May we shout for joy over your victory
and lift up our banners in the name of our God.

May the Lord grant all your requests.

Now this I know:
The Lord gives victory to his anointed.
He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary
with the victorious power of his right hand.
Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
They are brought to their knees and fall,
but we rise up and stand firm.
Lord, give victory to the king!
    Answer us when we call!

  1. I’m feeling a little better after my appointment this morning with the rhythm cardiologist. He said the one blip my main cardiologist saw in my two-week monitor is probably not a problem as long as it’s so rare and brief. He wants to make sure it doesn’t get worse with exercise so I’ll have a stress EKG with imaging right afterward in the near future. For the moment I’m reassured.

  2. Yes, thankful, Kevin. Will you have the chemical stress test or do the treadmill? I once did the treadmill and having never been on one I really could not get the hang of it and feared an accident so that was like double stress.

  3. Janice, I’ve never heard of a chemical stress test. It will be exercise. I don’t know if it will be treadmill or cycling. I’ve done stress tests both ways before.
