Prayer Requests 2-9-21

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 6

A psalm of David.

Lord, do not rebuke me in your anger
    or discipline me in your wrath.
Have mercy on me, Lord, for I am faint;
    heal me, Lord, for my bones are in agony.
My soul is in deep anguish.
    How long, Lord, how long?

Turn, Lord, and deliver me;
    save me because of your unfailing love.
Among the dead no one proclaims your name.
    Who praises you from the grave?

I am worn out from my groaning.

   All night long I flood my bed with weeping
    and drench my couch with tears.
My eyes grow weak with sorrow;
    they fail because of all my foes.

Away from me, all you who do evil,
    for the Lord has heard my weeping.
The Lord has heard my cry for mercy;
    the Lord accepts my prayer.
10 All my enemies will be overwhelmed with shame and anguish;
    they will turn back and suddenly be put to shame.

  1. Heavenly Father, I lift up Kizzie for all the needs You know she has for the surgery and recovery. Please make a good way through it all. Protect her at every moment. May her pain be under good control throughout the procedure and recovery. I pray if she has anxiety that it could quickly be turned over to You in prayer. Please keep all involved free of Covid. I ask that during this time that her daughters and grandson would turn in prayer to You in recognition that they have no where else to turn. May this situation make them take a long and accurate look at Jesus and find His love irresistible. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen

  2. Asking God to go before Roscuro into her meeting and make a good path through any ‘landmines.’ Protection and grace, love that overwhelms fear as only God can provide. Invisibility in the face of opposition as David demonstrated with Goliath. In Jesus, Amen

  3. My best friend from college, with whom I am in nearly daily contact and who is very important in my life, and who has several health vulnerabilities, has been exposed to Covid.
