Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 149
1 Praise the Lord.
Sing to the Lord a new song,
his praise in the assembly of his faithful people.
2 Let Israel rejoice in their Maker;
let the people of Zion be glad in their King.
3 Let them praise his name with dancing
and make music to him with timbrel and harp.
4 For the Lord takes delight in his people;
he crowns the humble with victory.
5 Let his faithful people rejoice in this honor
and sing for joy on their beds.
6 May the praise of God be in their mouths
and a double-edged sword in their hands,
7 to inflict vengeance on the nations
and punishment on the peoples,
8 to bind their kings with fetters,
their nobles with shackles of iron,
9 to carry out the sentence written against them—
this is the glory of all his faithful people.
Praise the Lord.
Lifting up Chas and Elvera today. May God make His Presence known and may they rest in Him.
And Kim and Mr P as well. Rest and peace.

God hears our many prayers for those who are suffering and need comfort. May He receive glory for doing what He alone knows to do for the needs of each individual. He is so strong and mighty, able to trade our earthly burdens, pains, and sorrows into eternal peace and joy with Him. Praise God from Whom all blessings flow . . .

My husband seems to have shingles, which are said to be potentially quite painful for someone with his underlying issues. A prescription has been called in, so we would appreciate prayers it would take care of it quickly.

Oh no (shingles). Someone on FB here recently got it, she’s healthy and active, in her 50s, and thought she was too young, but she had a pretty rough time of it. Hoping something can alleviate the symptoms quickly.

Cheryl, I am so sorry to hear he has shingles. I hope they are not near his eyes or ears. They can do so much damage. Prayers that the medicine will bring very quick relief.

Nightingale is safely home. Thanks for the prayers. She said that the roads are not good. She has tomorrow off, so that’s good. (The snow is forecast to go through tomorrow night.)
