Prayer Requests 12-2-20

It’s Wednesday, so don’t forget Ajissun and the folks in The Gambia.

Anyone else?

Psalm 113

Praise the Lord.

   Praise the Lord, you his servants;
    praise the name of the Lord.
Let the name of the Lord be praised,
    both now and forevermore.
From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets,
    the name of the Lord is to be praised.

The Lord is exalted over all the nations,
    his glory above the heavens.
Who is like the Lord our God,
    the One who sits enthroned on high,
who stoops down to look
    on the heavens and the earth?

He raises the poor from the dust
    and lifts the needy from the ash heap;
he seats them with princes,
    with the princes of his people.
He settles the childless woman in her home
    as a happy mother of children.

   Praise the Lord.

  1. The job my EMT has been waiting for was posted last week, but she missed seeing it until last night. She sent me her resume to review, I corrected a spelling error (!) and advised her to pass it on to her brother since he’s been reviewing resumes lately.

    This would be a big move in a lot of ways and she’d be closer to home. Please pray the Lord’s will be done. There are two jobs and several candidates.

  2. I am having some difficulty with the pre-op prep work for my surgery. There have been some slips between the cup and the lip – it took weeks for the paperwork they were to mail me got here, so it is not just the healthcare system that is causing delays – and I cannot seem to straighten it all out.

  3. Prayer for son in law and children as daughter has chosen divorce. Prayer for daughter that the eyes of her heart be opened. Prayer for friends and family who will be hurt by this as well. She is following in bio mom’s footsteps.

  4. We are so sad…and yet, God. I have been reading Sacred Marriage. The author talks of marriages that break against the desire of one of them and how God uses it for His glory.

  5. Prayer for Ethiopian son. He is coming down to talk tomorrow. His one remaining brother back in Ethiopia was shot and killed. All of his brothers back there have died young to violence or sickness. Most of his sisters as well though a couple of them are here in the States. Wisdom and comfort.
