Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 82
A psalm of Asaph.
1 God presides in the great assembly;
he renders judgment among the “gods”:
2 “How long will you defend the unjust
and show partiality to the wicked?
3 Defend the weak and the fatherless;
uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.
4 Rescue the weak and the needy;
deliver them from the hand of the wicked.
5 “The ‘gods’ know nothing, they understand nothing.
They walk about in darkness;
all the foundations of the earth are shaken.
6 “I said, ‘You are “gods”;
you are all sons of the Most High.’
7 But you will die like mere mortals;
you will fall like every other ruler.”
8 Rise up, O God, judge the earth,
for all the nations are your inheritance.
Still having some achiness in my lower mouth on the right side from when my wisdom tooth was removed last week, as well as the fibromyalgia-type aches in my neck and shoulder area on that side. Please pray for it all to finally heal all the way. It is “only” achy, not a sharp pain, but it is wearying. Thank you.

Those little achies can be quite wearing. Praying for you.

In my prayers this morning, I remembered to pray for several of you, as I always do. I don’t have a list so my prayers change from time to time.’
However:
It occurred to me that as I prayed for AJ, that this blog is a real ministry.
And it takes AJ some time and inconvenience to keep it up.
Just a reminder: Pray for AJ and his ministry here.

Please pray for Laura, my late friend Karen’s 25-year-old daughter. She just had a cancerous tumor removed this week.
I can’t imagine the shock of receiving a cancer diagnosis so soon after her mother’s diagnosis and death (in May and June, respectively). Laura is the most openly emotional of Karen and Mike’s five children, and now she’s facing cancer herself.
Please also pray for Laura’s husband, Andy, and for her dad and siblings. Such a difficult year, and I know there have been other deaths in the extended family, also, Karen’s sister told me.
All committed Christians. Pray for the strengthening of their faith through these trials.
Thank you.

Along those lines, our worship team directors, husband and wife, have a son, married for about a year now, whose wife has breast cancer. She is only age 25 and is scheduled to have a double mastectomy. They live in Florida. I can’t imagine. I think the young man is a worship leader at their church. Prayers for both the 25 y/o ladies dealing with these cancer diagnosis issues.

So sorry to hear that, Janice. Laura and Andy have been married a little over a year, too.
Prayers for your worship team directors’ daughter-in-law (and their son).

Lots of prayers in my communities about the election.
Here’s what I’m praying, again: “Lord, I ask that you will provide us with the government we need, not the one we deserve.”
Guess what? He’ll answer! 🙂

I am still having tooth pain on and off and arm/shoulder pain. Loss of sleep is a real problem.
I talked to a woman (Sharon) at church who will be having some more tests this week. She has cancer and has gotten both chemo and radiation in the past. She told me she was so glad she had her treatment before the mess of Covid. She knows one lady who was told she will need to wait for the chemo she needs because of Covid. My husband had to wait for tests, but not treatment. That is not good.

Kathaleena – Have you been to the dentist about your tooth pain?

The mom of one of my students has tested positive for covid. She works in a local health care system. She got tested very soon after onset of symptoms, which are mild, thankfully. Prayers for her and her family appreciated. Thanks.

Prayers for the aches and pains you’re experiencing, Kizzie and Kathaleena.

Yes, Kizzie, I have been in twice with it. Last time was a regular check up. It is a crowned tooth and has been a strange experience. It is not steady pain and does not act like any tooth I have had. We decided it was best to wait and see at this point.

Praying for easing of that pain, even if it is an occasional one, and healing of the root cause (pun intended 🙂 ). I’ve had that kind of thing, too, and whenever it would act up again, I would wonder if “this time” it was going to continue hurting and get worse. I think the anxiety about it can be as bad as (or sometimes worse than) the actual pain.
