It’s Friday, so please remember to pray for Mumsee, Mike, and the Nestlings.
Anyone else?
Psalm 20
A psalm of David.
1 May the Lord answer you when you are in distress;
may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.
2 May he send you help from the sanctuary
and grant you support from Zion.
3 May he remember all your sacrifices
and accept your burnt offerings.
4 May he give you the desire of your heart
and make all your plans succeed.
5 May we shout for joy over your victory
and lift up our banners in the name of our God.
May the Lord grant all your requests.
6 Now this I know:
The Lord gives victory to his anointed.
He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary
with the victorious power of his right hand.
7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
8 They are brought to their knees and fall,
but we rise up and stand firm.
9 Lord, give victory to the king!
Answer us when we call!
I ask for prayer for my friend Karen. She may have a procedure today that would require heart surgery depending what they find.
Also, prayer for Wesley as he will see the specialist about his broken arm. Not sure when.
Third request is that all would go smoothly with required paperwork on the sale of the car.
Thank you for your prayers ♡

Amen. It is calming to know that God cares about it all.

Please pray for wisdom on what to do about my right leg. It has been aching for a while. The shin, right below the knee, the knee, the thigh and now the hip. When my oldest daughter was in junior high she started to limp. To be the least invasive, they did a needle biopsy and decided it just needed to be treated with aspirin three times a day for a month. I am thinking of trying something like that as a first step.

And pray for the young woman’s meeting at the pregnancy center today, that she and her child’s father would be able to well hear what is said to them, face their decision, listen to Jesus, and make some good decisions.

Jo, maybe you have shin splint(s)?
~ Shin splints result when muscles, tendons, and bone tissue become overworked. Shin splints often occur in athletes who’ve recently intensified or changed their training routines.
The main symptom is pain in the leg. Treatment includes rest, ice, and pain relievers.~

I just got off the phone after having the conversation with my daughter I had expected to have last weekend when she was home.
Instead, it came to a head today.
My child is grieving, afraid to grieve, angry, and disappointed.
Fortunately, I went through all these emotions two weeks ago . . . 😦
Please pray for her. The whole world is before her and she’s depressed, as you might expect.
It’s time for a change, but she expected a different one, just about now.
Go ahead and laugh. I sent her to the USC alumni connection site–I’ll be happy to be chagrinned if that helps.

Michelle – Maybe I missed something. Did C not get into medical school?

Meeting went well, she enjoyed the class and learned some things. We go back next week if God allows. Meanwhile, we got on the horn to the clinic and she tried to set up an appt. They could not understand why she did not want the clinic in her town. I told them I could take her anywhere but wanted my doctor if possible. They are working on it.

She did not, Kizzie. Incredibly disappointed, all of us.

Michelle – I’m so sorry. 😦
I’m sure she will be weighing options sometime soon, if not already. Something I thought of is that there is a kind of nurse who is close to a doctor – an APRN (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse). Do you think she may eventually want to go that route?
Praying God will comfort and encourage her, and lead her in the way He wants her to go.

Remember to pray for AJ and Cheryl as they drop their daughter off at college (I think that was yesterday) and return home.
