Prayer Requests 5-19-20

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 99

The Lord reigns,
    let the nations tremble;
   he sits enthroned between the cherubim,
    let the earth shake.
Great is the Lord in Zion;
    he is exalted over all the nations.
Let them praise your great and awesome name—
    he is holy.

The King is mighty, he loves justice—
    you have established equity;
   in Jacob you have done
    what is just and right.
Exalt the Lord our God
    and worship at his footstool;
    he is holy.

Moses and Aaron were among his priests,
    Samuel was among those who called on his name;
   they called on the Lord
    and he answered them.
He spoke to them from the pillar of cloud;
    they kept his statutes and the decrees he gave them.

Lord our God,
    you answered them;
   you were to Israel a forgiving God,
    though you punished their misdeeds.
Exalt the Lord our God
    and worship at his holy mountain,
    for the Lord our God is holy.

  1. Wisdom. Husband has about run out of give for eighteen year old daughter. He has been giving and giving and giving and she spent yesterday yelling at him for standing in the way of her independence. He even had the audacity to take the thirteen year old son with him to town instead of her. He told her he would look into relinquishing guardianship today. Which would put her a ward of the State. Not our first choice. Wisdom. And a change of heart, either on our part so we are okay with her going into state care, or on her part so she could see the value of remaining here and cooperating to the best of her ability.

  2. Asking the Lord to meet her where she is Mumsee…and that she will have a listening heart and spirit ❤️
    I do have a praise and thank you…daughter has a job! She interviewed in March and then the world stopped. The company called her on Friday and she completed her paperwork online yesterday and started the onboard position videos as well. Her first “in office” day is June 1st. They told her they really liked her from the time of her interview but everything shutdown and everyone stayed at home….they did apologize for keeping her in the dark for so long but she is excited to getting back to work!…and so are we!!! 😊

  3. Through three fire seasons, a flood, a drought, electrical outages, a new pastor search, and now COVID, our resolute church secretary Debi has led the relief efforts in our community and our church. She’s the mainstay and we have been so appreciative.

    Today, while stopping, as usual, to fuel up at Starbucks before heading to work, she slipped and sustained a compound fracture of her right wrist. At the hospital now, as they’re concerned about infection from two bones breathing through the surface of her skin.

    My former assistant/housekeeper Leah is the administrative assistant (you’ve watched her grow up through me) at our church for the last two or so years. She’s now in charge.

    Please pray for Debi’s healing, Leah’s ability, and that God would be glorified. Debi could probably use the physical rest, but not the pain and the injury.
