Psalm 75
1 We praise you, God,
we praise you, for your Name is near;
people tell of your wonderful deeds.
2 You say, “I choose the appointed time;
it is I who judge with equity.
3 When the earth and all its people quake,
it is I who hold its pillars firm.
4 To the arrogant I say, ‘Boast no more,’
and to the wicked, ‘Do not lift up your horns.
5 Do not lift your horns against heaven;
do not speak so defiantly.’”
6 No one from the east or the west
or from the desert can exalt themselves.
7 It is God who judges:
He brings one down, he exalts another.
8 In the hand of the Lord is a cup
full of foaming wine mixed with spices;
he pours it out, and all the wicked of the earth
drink it down to its very dregs.
9 As for me, I will declare this forever;
I will sing praise to the God of Jacob,
10 who says, “I will cut off the horns of all the wicked,

Wandering Views 
I could use some prayer today (well, everyday really). Husband has a concussion – a tire fell on his head last week as he was getting them down to put the winters on my car. So, now I’m doing everything (dishes, dogs, fire starting and stoking, working, etc) as if he wasn’t home, but worse because he moans and groans all night so I can’t get a good sleep. Yes, I am feeling sorry for myself, which is why I need prayer.

A girl in the Embrace Grace Bible study is thinking of abortion. She is saying that the bullying at school is too much and one thing after another. We are offering to have her stay here for the pregnancy and schooling, working with her single mother who is home with six children. Prayer for the girl to make the right choice and for us if she decides to move here.

Dear Heavenly Father,
I lift up the needs mentioned today by Kare and Mumsee. Please help Kare to have compassion for her husband as he works toward regaining strength and learns to tolerate pain in a less vocal way. Please increase the stamina of Kare as she does double duty.
Please give guidance to the young lady Mumsee spoke of who is considering abortion. Thank You God for the help Mumsee and Mike are offering to save the life of a baby in the womb. May a decision be made soon that is pleasing to You. I ask for You to help Mumsee and Mike with any needs related to making this offer to house this young lady and her future baby.
I lift up Cheryl and her husband as they go through difficult times with people they have been in close relationship with for many years. You know the details of the health issues of their past pastor/close friend. Please provide relief from suffering. Also, I ask if at all possible for Cheryl’s sister to see the full truth of their relationship. Please clear the fog and lack of correct processing and remembrance of how much Cheryl has done to help her. I ask that she would be receiving correct guidance through church. May she be swayed by Your love rather than by any bitter root. Please bless Cheryl and her husband with a strengthening bond of closeness as they support each other with Your help during these difficult times.
