Prayer Requests 9-24-19

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 47

Clap your hands, all you nations;
    shout to God with cries of joy.

For the Lord Most High is awesome,
    the great King over all the earth.
He subdued nations under us,
    peoples under our feet.
He chose our inheritance for us,
    the pride of Jacob, whom he loved.

God has ascended amid shouts of joy,
    the Lord amid the sounding of trumpets.
Sing praises to God, sing praises;
    sing praises to our King, sing praises.
For God is the King of all the earth;
    sing to him a psalm of praise.

God reigns over the nations;
    God is seated on his holy throne.
The nobles of the nations assemble
    as the people of the God of Abraham,
   for the kings of the earth belong to God;
    he is greatly exalted.

  1. I am headed to a second mammogram. The results of the First was “abnormal or inconclusive “. I am choosing to believe those results are because I allowed a radiology student to do the one Friday. Of course insurance covered the on Friday because it was screening but won’t cover this one because it is diagnostic. Always a catch somewhere 😏😏

  2. Prayer for daughter as she slips into the unknown and wisdom for her doctors as they decide where to send her next. I am sorry she will miss her appointment this morning for starting her job.

  3. When we went in, we stopped by daughter’s room to visit. She did not respond at all until I asked if we were done. She said yes. We left. After five or ten minutes, I went back, she was glad to see me and all talkative, wanting to come home. Sorry, no.

    Then the meeting with the discharge lady, she is trying to figure out a plan for Tina. Nobody will take her. But somebody will, eventually Mental health is way off with resources for the needs. Next time you read about a school shooting and how the parents had been struggling to get mental health care, keep that in mind. Maybe insane asylums were not so bad.

    Then went back to daughter’s room for a bit more conversation before heading home. She has a bed, A mattress on the floor of a very empty room. No television, no visitors except hospital staff doing their rounds and somebody to peek at her for suicide watch. She is not near the nurses’ station so she cannot eavesdrop. Very Spartan but she is well fed. Everybody wants to help her but nobody knows how. Wisdom. And healing for daughter’s mind as she learns to look at Jesus.
