Prayer Requests 8-29-19

It’s Thursday, so don’t forget to pray for Jo, her students, and the people of PNG.

Anyone else?

Psalm 25

Vindicate me, Lord,
    for I have led a blameless life;
   I have trusted in the Lord
    and have not faltered.
Test me, Lord, and try me,
    examine my heart and my mind;
for I have always been mindful of your unfailing love
    and have lived in reliance on your faithfulness.

I do not sit with the deceitful,
    nor do I associate with hypocrites.
I abhor the assembly of evildoers
    and refuse to sit with the wicked.
I wash my hands in innocence,
    and go about your altar, Lord,
proclaiming aloud your praise
    and telling of all your wonderful deeds.

Lord, I love the house where you live,
    the place where your glory dwells.
Do not take away my soul along with sinners,
    my life with those who are bloodthirsty,
10 in whose hands are wicked schemes,
    whose right hands are full of bribes.
11 I lead a blameless life;
    deliver me and be merciful to me.

12 My feet stand on level ground;
    in the great congregation I will praise the Lord.

  1. I can barely move this morning. Will need to get children up to help me with my chores. Then off to the vet with seven animals. Hopefully, the children can handle it all because I am out of the loop for that. I need to stop for a week or two. It can be done. After the vet appt. Prayer for help and for remembering to stop. Thanks.

  2. Well, that went well. The help came in the form of unexpected rain so husband was able to come along as he was not driving grain truck.

    The vet, Kim, reminds me of Kim. She was commenting that she is always amazed at how calm our animals are. They just come in, do their thing, and rotate out. No quibbling. To me, it is how animals behave. Why would you want otherwise.

  3. Wow, you guys have clout. My back is about ninety eight percent now. Lifting grain buckets and rototillers and all with no pain. Still taking it easy as I don’t want a relapse… Thanks to God.
