  1. Once again, hiding in plain sight.

“FBI uncovers homegrown terror training camp in Alabama”

“At first glance, it looks like an abandoned dump.

But this plot of land in Macon County, Alabama is described in an FBI search warrant as a “makeshift military-style obstacle course” belonging to a small group of terrorists led by Siraj Wahhaj who owned the property up a long dirt road but just a few miles from downtown Tuskegee.

The property, similar to another compound in New Mexico the group is now linked to where federal prosecutors say Wahhaj and four other suspects were training children to carry out deadly terror attacks on American soil.”

“Six killed in attack on Catholic church in Burkina Faso”

“A Catholic church in north-central Burkina Faso was attacked by armed men on Sunday morning, leaving at least six people, including the priest, dead, Radio France Internationale (RFI) reported.

The attackers opened fire on the faithful at the beginning of Mass in the village of Dablo, 90 km from Kaya, according to FRANCE 24’s sister radio station, RFI.

“Towards 9:00am, during mass, armed individuals burst into the Catholic Church,” the mayor of Dablo, Ousmane Zongo, told AFP. “They started firing as the congregation tried to flee.””

“Mike Pence Renews Call That Ilhan Omar Be Removed From House Foreign Affairs Committee

Omar continues to play the “woman of color” card to try and silence her critics, but Pence has made it clear that he’s not backing down”

Nor should he. She needs to be removed.

  3. Illegally obtained, so it’s all fruit of the poisoned tree.

“The Justice Department inspector general has determined the three Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant extensions against onetime Trump campaign aide Carter Page were illegally obtained, attorney Joe diGenova said on Thursday.

In an investigation that began last year, Inspector General Michael Horowitz is examining the Justice Department’s and FBI’s compliance with legal requirements as well as policies and procedures in applications filed with the U.S. Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court related to Page as part of a larger counterintelligence probe into Trump’s campaign.

The inspector general inquiry is expected to be completed in either late May or June, and diGenova, a former U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia, said Democrats on Capitol Hill are working overtime to investigate and discredit President Trump.

“They are doing that as a diversionary tactic away from the inevitable conclusions of the DOJ inspector general, Michael Horowitz, who, by the way, we have learned has concluded that the final three FISA extensions were illegally obtained,” diGenova said on Fox Business. “The only question now is whether or not the first FISA was illegally obtained.”

He pointed to memos, obtained by conservative group Citizens United through open-records litigation, that suggest the FBI might have misled the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court in the first warrant application about an unverified dossier.

Horowitz “apparently, as a result of those disclosures … which he was unaware of — the bureau hid those memos from Horowitz — as a result of that they’re doing additional work on the first FISA. It may be that all four FISAs will have been obtained illegally,” diGenova said.”

  4. Graham wants more released, and tighter asylum laws.

“Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham exclusively told “Sunday Morning Futures” that he is working to declassify a sensitive “document” that definitively proves that authorities knew the Steele dossier — which the FBI used to justify the secret surveillance of a former Trump aide — lacked any substantial independent corroboration.

Graham also previewed legislation he will introduce on Wednesday to halt what he called the “perfect storm” of illegal immigration that now constitutes an “invasion” at the southern border, and predicted that “90 percent of illegal immigration” from Central America would soon come to an end under his plan.

“There’s a document that’s classified that I’m gonna try to get unclassified that takes the dossier — all the pages of it — and it has verification to one side,” Graham told anchor Maria Bartiromo. “There really is no verification, other than media reports that were generated by reporters that received the dossier.”

Graham added: “So, the bottom line is the dossier has never been independently confirmed. It was used to get a warrant. They knew the author of the dossier was on the Democrat Party payroll. He hated Trump; they got the warrant anyway. Most Americans should be very upset about that. I’m very upset about it. And we’re going to get to the bottom of it.”

On four occasions, the FBI told the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance (FISA) court that it “did not believe” former British spy Christopher Steele was the direct source for a Yahoo News article implicating former Trump aide Carter Page in Russian collusion, documents released after a lawsuit showed last year.

Instead, the FBI suggested to the court, the September 2016 article by Michael Isikoff was independent corroboration of the salacious, unverified allegations against Trump in the infamous Steele Dossier. Federal authorities used both the Steele Dossier and Yahoo News article to convince the FISA court to authorize a surveillance warrant for Page.

But London court records show that contrary to the FBI’s assessments, Steele briefed Yahoo News and other reporters in the fall of 2016 at the direction of Fusion GPS — the opposition research firm behind the dossier.

The FISA application also copied and pasted directly from a Washington Post opinion piece that claimed the Trump campaign had “worked behind the scenes” to “gut” the GOP platform on Russia and Ukraine.

The FBI seemingly conducted no independent review of the opinion article’s disputed claims, which were widely cited as evidence the Trump team was compromised by Russia and working to publicly appease Russian President Vladimir Putin. Despite the brouhaha, Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe only briefly mentioned the episode, saying there was no evidence of misconduct when a lone Trump official vetoed a single delegate’s proposed platform change.”

  5. Running interference for Hillary and her many crimes.

“Obama White House Was Tracking FOIA Requests Regarding Hillary Clinton”

    “Lock them up?

Judicial Watch has scored an impressive achievement by digging into the records of the entire Clinton e-mail scandal, showing that not only was the Obama White House aware of what was going on, but Clinton’s State Department may have lied in response to Freedom of Information Act requests. While you probably thought we’d heard the last of this tale, it turns out that this debacle dates back to 2012. At that time, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) had submitted a FOIA request to the State Department asking for information about how many email accounts the Secretary of State had been using. They were told no such records existed and the White House continued to maintain that position for some time to come. But now, new documents show that the White House was indeed aware of the situation and were tracking CREW’s FOIA requests, presumably to keep a handle on the situation. (Judicial Watch)

Judicial Watch announced today that it obtained 44 pages of records from the State Department through court-ordered discovery revealing that the Obama White House was tracking a December 2012 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request seeking records concerning then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s use of an unsecure, non-government email system. Months after the Obama White House involvement, the State Department responded to the requestor, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), falsely stating that no such records existed.

Judicial Watch’s discovery is centered upon whether Clinton intentionally attempted to evade the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) by using a non-government email system and whether the State Department acted in bad faith in processing Judicial Watch’s FOIA request for communications from Clinton’s office.

One of the smoking guns here comes in the form of a December 2012 email sent by Sheryl L. Walter, the director of the State Department’s Office of Information Programs and Services (IPS). The subject line is something of a dead giveaway. “Need to track down a FOIA request from CREW.” The body of the email begins with two simple words… “WH called.” She then asks for any details about the FOIA request so she can “call the WH back,” noting that they would like a “quick turnaround.”

From there, the plot thickens quickly.”

  6. This one is cracking me up. I’ve read 4 stories on this already. The comment sections are hilarious. Liberals are shrieking about how wrong Pence is……. while they show you how right he is at the same time.

“Vice President Pence to graduates: Be prepared to be ridiculed for being Christian”

“The last time Vice President Mike Pence spoke at Liberty University, he used the backdrop of one of the world’s largest Christian schools to vouch for candidate Donald Trump’s faith credentials during the 2016 campaign.

When Pence returned to the school Saturday to deliver the commencement address, his remarks were more personal.

Pence, who has been facing criticisms of his own religious views recently, warned graduates that they have to stay strong against the challenges they’ll get from Hollywood, the media and the secular left.

“Some of the loudest voices for tolerance today have little tolerance for traditional Christian beliefs,” Pence said. “Be ready.”

With his wife, Karen, sitting on stage as he spoke, Pence recounted the “harsh attacks” he said they endured when she returned this year to teaching art at a Christian elementary school where she’d worked when he’d served in Congress. Unlike her previous stint, this time Karen Pence faced scrutiny after news reports pointed out that the school bans gay students and teachers.

“Throughout most of American history, it’s been pretty easy to call yourself Christian,” Pence said. “It didn’t even occur to people that you might be shunned or ridiculed for defending the teachings of the Bible. But things are different now.”

Pence said the graduates will be asked not just to tolerate things that violate their faith, but to endorse them.”

“Why is Joe Biden so warm toward China?

Last week, Biden raised eyebrows when he shrugged off concerns over the China threat. “Come on, man,” Biden said. “I mean, you know, they’re not bad folks, folks. But guess what, they’re not competition for us.”

Perhaps Biden’s insouciant attitude toward the Chinese government has to do with the fact that his family does not consider them competitors but business partners.

In 2013, then-Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden flew aboard Air Force Two to China. Less than two weeks later, Hunter Biden’s firm inked a $1 billion private equity deal with a subsidiary of the Chinese government’s Bank of China. The deal was later expanded to $1.5 billion. In short, the Chinese government funded a business that it co-owned along with the son of a sitting vice president.

If it sounds shocking that a vice president would shape US-China policy as his son — who has scant experience in private equity — clinched a coveted billion-dollar deal with an arm of the Chinese government, that’s because it is.”

His dealings here are as dirty as he and his son’s Ukraine dealings, which again, didn’t help US policy, just the Biden family’s net worth.

  8. The issue is not whether Illian (/) Omar should be removed; it is “What is she doing there in the first place?” This means that there is a significant number of people, presumably in Michigan, who thought it wise to elect a Muslim Representative.
And Congressional leaders who understand Islam enough to assign her to a foreign affairs committee.

I saw, somewhere else this morning, that they discovered in Alabama a Muslim training camp.
The war has started It started long ago. We haven’t identified the enemy yet.

“Christians Need To Stop Being So Naive About Muslim Immigration

Many Christians have been lulled into a childish view of the world and think that deep down Muslims are not too different from them.”

“Soon after the November attack at Ohio State University, we learned the Somali Muslim perpetrator had been welcomed to the United States as a refugee by Catholic Charities of Dallas. This bit of news caught my attention because years ago I worked there for a brief time.

In the early 1990s after graduating from college, I served there for a year as part of a volunteer stipend program, helping immigrants caught here illegally prepare their cases for immigration court. My roommates worked on the refugee resettlement side, helping newly arrived families with refugee status.

I’ve continued to be fascinated with immigration and looked for ways to be helpful. It’s what drew me to teaching English to immigrant students. But my perspective widened and concerns grew as I learned more about our porous borders and problems throughout the West with assimilation, and as I witnessed the growing influence of a warped multiculturalism that convinces many to quash any uneasiness about newcomers, no matter how reasonable. In voicing my concerns, I’ve been slammed by other Christians who’ve called me ignorant and uncaring.

Although I worked for Catholic Charities, I’m a lifelong Protestant. I was raised Lutheran and for many years now have attended conservative Presbyterian churches. Multiculturalism long ago began to muscle its way into mainline Protestant churches but is now running amok in conservative churches, too, with many Christians fearful of being called a bigot for criticizing other traditions and beliefs.

While those in mainline churches tout diversity in a way that differs little from those outside the church, more devout Christians have adopted multiculturalism as a way to better evangelize. Emotion and sentiment have taken over reason, leaving people without the resources to sufficiently analyze threats to our culture and safety, and in some cases, even a diminished interest in doing so. The more pious shame others for their concerns, saying sacrifice and saving souls should come way before worries about ensuring America’s survival as a strong nation.

Many Evangelicals Don’t Seem to Get It

Trump did well among evangelicals in winning the presidency. Many conservative Christians cited Supreme Court picks as the top reason they were voting for him despite his personal moral failings. It’s far from clear that Christians en masse would fully support proposals to seriously restrict Muslim immigration, especially once they face the wrath of activists and journalists more determined than ever to smear them as racists. Also, there’s a strong movement among intellectual evangelicals to embrace Muslim immigration.

In December 2015, more than 100 evangelical leaders met at Wheaton College to discuss how Christians should respond to the migrant crisis that began early that year. They released a statement that gave only passing mention to security concerns while focusing primarily on telling Christians not to be fearful.

“We will not be motivated by fear but by love for God and others…We cannot allow voices of fear to dominate,” the statement read. But rational fear is a healthy thing. It serves to protect, and in protecting, shows love. The Bible has plenty of examples of God’s people taking measures to protect their communities. There’s no reason to fear every single Muslim we meet, but in looking at the bigger picture, there are perfectly valid reasons to fear the violence and political and cultural change a growing Muslim population can bring.

Some of my devout Christian friends insist we shouldn’t speak out much about atrocities Muslims have committed because if we do, Muslims won’t be open to hearing the gospel from us. Neither, they say, should we voice too many criticisms about religious differences that might upset them. But how can there be any hope of having a functioning multicultural society if there are taboos against criticizing traditions that aren’t your own? This misguided quest to be nice and welcoming creates space for the strong-armed to run over the weak, the very type of scenario you would think Christians concerned about justice would care about.

    Muslims Aren’t Just Another Denomination”

  10. “It’s hard for me to wrap my mind around how my educated friends and educated church leaders can’t see that differences between Islam and Christianity are profoundly greater than differences between various Christian groups. Have they not read the history of Islamic conquest? Can they not observe the differences in today’s world between countries dominated by Islam and Western countries founded on Christian and Enlightenment values? Are they not aware of the widespread problems with migrants assaulting women in Germany, one of the latest victims being the daughter of a European official, who was raped and drowned? Have they not heard about the sharia law courts Muslim immigrants have created in England and the schools where Muslim children are taught barbaric practices?”

“Dem fear: Hillary is to emails, as Biden is to (Ukraine? China?)
    Comments Permalink

The panicked reaction to claims about Biden’s family conflicts when he was VP suggests Democrats and the media are worried.”

“Being in the position of just hearing about it and seeing reactions, I’m a typical news consumer. And what I’m sensing, and have sensed for some time, is that Ukraine may be to Biden’s campaign what emails were to Hillary’s campaign. And China could get there too.

On Ukraine, the NY Times wrote. Biden Faces Conflict of Interest Questions That Are Being Promoted by Trump and Allies

It was a foreign policy role Joseph R. Biden Jr. enthusiastically embraced during his vice presidency: browbeating Ukraine’s notoriously corrupt government to clean up its act. And one of his most memorable performances came on a trip to Kiev in March 2016, when he threatened to withhold $1 billion in United States loan guarantees if Ukraine’s leaders did not dismiss the country’s top prosecutor, who had been accused of turning a blind eye to corruption in his own office and among the political elite.

The pressure campaign worked. The prosecutor general, long a target of criticism from other Western nations and international lenders, was soon voted out by the Ukrainian Parliament.

Among those who had a stake in the outcome was Hunter Biden, Mr. Biden’s younger son, who at the time was on the board of an energy company owned by a Ukrainian oligarch who had been in the sights of the fired prosecutor general.

Hunter Biden was a Yale-educated lawyer who had served on the boards of Amtrak and a number of nonprofit organizations and think tanks, but lacked any experience in Ukraine and just months earlier had been discharged from the Navy Reserve after testing positive for cocaine. He would be paid as much as $50,000 per month in some months for his work for the company, Burisma Holdings.”

“Maybe it’s nothing, but it’s becoming something people are talking about, including Rand Paul: Americans Will Be Shocked To Learn What Joe Biden’s Son Was Up To In Ukraine:

Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” Sen. Rand Paul discussed reports that former Vice President Joe Biden faces questions of conflict of interest related to his son’s business interests in Ukraine. This week, the president’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani floated and eventually scrapped a plan to travel to Ukraine to ask for an investigation….

Sen. Paul told ABC that “most Americans will be dismayed that the vice president’s son was doing this while Joe Biden was actually lobbying to have this company, you know, go free of prosecution.””

  12. An ignorant liar.

“Rep. Rashida Tlaib Falsely Claims Palestinian Arabs Created “a Safe Haven” for Jews During and After The Holocaust

Jeff Jacoby: “No, @RashidaTlaib, Palestinian Arabs did not provide “safe haven” for Jews. They assaulted & murdered Jews, urged on by their leader, Haj Amin al-Husseini, an admirer and ally of Adolf Hitler.”

“In a Yahoo! News podcast called Skullduggery, Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D – Mich.) made an outrageous claim about the Holocaust (emphasis added):

“There’s always kind of a calming feeling I tell folks when I think of the Holocaust, and the tragedy of the Holocaust, and the fact that it was my ancestors — Palestinians — who lost their land and some lost their lives, their livelihood, their human dignity, their existence in many ways, have been wiped out, and some people’s passports. And just all of it was in the name of trying to create a safe haven for Jews, post-the Holocaust, post-the tragedy and the horrific persecution of Jews across the world at that time. And I love the fact that it was my ancestors that provided that, right, in many ways. But they did it in a way that took their human dignity away and it was forced on them.”

One of the first to report on Tlaib’s comments, Phillip Klein of The Washington Examiner observed, “Tlaib’s claims that her Arab ancestors provided a ‘safe haven’ to Jews after the Holocaust ignores the Jewish presence in the region and efforts to establish a Jewish state that predated the Holocaust, ignores that her ancestors allied with Hitler at the time of the Holocaust, and ignores decades of violence and terrorism directed at Israel both before, during, and after the Holocaust.”

That the Arabs living in pre-state Israel (who would have called themselves “Arabs,” not “Palestinians,”) welcomed Jews is an inversion of the historical record. The Mufti of Jerusalem Mohammed Amin al-Husseini, a Nazi sympathizer, organized pogroms against the Jews and brought pressure on the British to prohibit Jewish immigration to what was then called Palestine, which condemned millions to death.

Tlaib’s blatant historical inversion is an attempt to not just to deny the history, but to cast Palestinians as victims of not just the Europeans, but of the Jews too. It is common for the Palestinians to engage in Holocaust denial. Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas received his PhD for a paper alleging collaboration between the Zionists and the Nazis.

Other frequent claims made by the Palestinians are that they shouldn’t be dispossessed because of the sins of the Europeans and that the Holocaust wasn’t as bad as advertised. (No these claims are not consistent.)

Tlaib’s assertion is that the Jews given protection by the Palestinians then betrayed them and stole their land.”

  13. —————–

  14. Even CNN has called her on her lies.

  15. So the Biden family mixes politics and business the same way as the Trumps. If this disqualifies Biden then it disqualifies Trump. Not a bad idea….Sanders/Harris is a better ticket.

  16. Not surprised to hear of terrorist training camps….they are following the example of right wing groups. The left has been warning for over a decade that terrorist groups love American gun laws.

  17. I’m amused the party of Steven King is constantly upset about Omar.

Tlaib is wrong in that the Arab elites opposed Jewish immigration. Actually they were hypocritical….they sold land to Zionist organizations then they told Palestinian peasants and workers it was the Jew’s fault. However, many Palestinian-Jewish relations at the local/neighborhood were often positive. Many Palestinians realized the Jewish settlers brought opportunities and change (the same reason the Arab elites tried to break these friendships). The post war independence events overwhelmed and poisoned these local relationships.

  18. “So the Biden family mixes politics and business the same way as the Trumps. If this disqualifies Biden then it disqualifies Trump.”

See, here’s the thing. Trump has been in politics for less than 5 years. Biden’s been at it for 5 decades.

And there are no credible allegations of the Trump’s doing anything illegal. Sure they whine, but they have no proof of wrong doing. The same cannot be said for the Biden family, who we now have proof, actually colluded with a foreign govt too.

    You’re dreaming.
