  1. And remember just how badly this man was slandered by NTers and Democrats, when he was right all along.

Now throw the book at ’em.

    https://dailycaller.com/2019/04/07/devin-nunes-doj-referrals-conspiracy-dossier-leaks/

“California Rep. Devin Nunes said Sunday he plans to submit eight criminal referrals to the Justice Department this week related to the Obama administration’s handling of the Trump-Russia investigation.

Nunes said on Fox’s “Sunday Morning Futures” that the referrals will be made for alleged leaks of classified information to the media, for manipulating intelligence and for misleading foreign intelligence surveillance court judges regarding the infamous Steele dossier.

Nunes declined to identify the Obama officials who will be subject to the referrals. He said that five of the referrals name specific government officials he believes have lied to Congress, misled Congress or leaked classified information.

“We believe there is a conspiracy to lie to the FISA [Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act] court, mislead the FISA court, by numerous individuals that all need to be investigated and looked at,” said Nunes, the top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee.”

  2. Here’s an update on another criminal Democrat.

    https://dailycaller.com/2019/04/05/senator-hassan-aid-data-theft/

“A former IT aide to New Hampshire Democratic Sen. Maggie Hassan mounted an “extraordinarily extensive data-theft scheme” against the office, the culprit’s plea agreement states.

The plot included the installation of tiny “keylogging” devices that picked up every keystroke. Between July and October 2018, former IT aide Jackson Cosko worked with an unnamed accomplice, a then-current Hassan employee, who repeatedly lent him a key that he used to enter the office at night and who allegedly tried to destroy evidence for him.

osko accepted responsibility for the events revealed by federal prosecutors in court Friday.

A statement of facts that Cosko agreed to says that from July to October 2018, he “engaged in an extraordinarily extensive data-theft scheme, copying entire network drives, sorting and organizing sensitive data, and exploring ways to use that data to his benefit,” arranging it into folders such as “high value.”

The theft occurred after Cosko was fired from Hassan’s office in May 2018 for undisclosed reasons, then hired by Democratic Texas Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, giving him access to the House computer network.

“The defendant gained access to Senator Hassan’s Office by unlawfully obtaining keys from a staffer who was (at the time) still employed in the Office” and using it to repeatedly burglarize the office. He placed small, unobtrusive devices on at least six Senate computers that captured every keystroke, including usernames and passwords which he would then use to access further documents.”

He repeatedly sneaked into her office late at night and gathered dozens of gigabytes of data including:

dozens of usernames and passwords belonging to Senate employees
tens of thousands of emails and internal documents
credit card information belonging to Senate employees
social security numbers belonging to Senate employees
personally identifying information belonging to hundreds of other persons (presumably constituents)
private phone numbers and home addresses of senators

In October 2018, he used information stolen from Hassan’s office to doxx Republican Utah Sens. Orrin Hatch and Mike Lee as well as Republican South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham. Republican Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul later called for punishing the then-unknown offender. Cosko then doxxed Paul and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. “The defendant published that information maliciously, with the intent to intimidate the Senators,” the plea agreement says.””

  3. Govt. run healthcare is hazardous to your health.

    https://www.straitstimes.com/world/europe/thousands-in-britain-left-to-go-blind-due-to-eye-surgery-rationing-report

“Thousands in Britain left to go blind due to eye surgery rationing: Report”

“Thousands of elderly people in Britain are left to go blind because of rationing of eye surgery in the National Health Service (NHS), a report revealed on Saturday (April 6).

The Times newspaper said a survey by the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (RCO) found tens of thousands of elderly people are left struggling to see because of an NHS cost-cutting drive that relies on them dying before they can qualify for cataract surgery.

The survey has found that the NHS has ignored instructions to end cataract treatment rationing in defiance of official guidance two years ago.

The RCO said its survey has found 62 per cent of eye units retain policies that require people’s vision to have deteriorated below a certain point before surgery is funded.

With more than 400,000 cataract operations carried out each year, the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) concluded that there was no justification for policies that denied patients cataract removal surgery until they could barely see.

The RCO said that refusal to fund surgery was insulting and called into question the entire system through which the NHS approves treatments.”

  4. Nice to see the media has opened their eyes. But even when they get it right, it’s for the wrong reasons.

    https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/dan-gainor-media-concede-theres-a-border-crisis-but-wont-give-trump-credit-for-getting-mexico-to-act

“Even the media finally admit there’s a crisis at our southern border and that Mexico is moving to address it. We should all thank President Trump for prompting Mexico to act with his threat to close the border. But most journalists won’t give Trump credit for anything.

Instead, many in the media are blaming the president for the border crisis that he is working to solve.

Heck, many journalists actually criticized Trump for jeopardizing the national guacamole supply when he threatened to close our border with Mexico if that nation didn’t do more to stop the flow of illegal immigrants and drugs into the U.S.

MSNBC anchor Lawrence O’Donnell was one of many to push the talking point as if it were important, telling his audience that if the border closed the “United States would run out of guacamole in three weeks, literally three weeks.”

NBC correspondent Tom Costello expanded those concerns to other parts of the menu. He cautioned about the possible loss of “the blackberries and raspberries in your smoothie, not to mention beer, wine and tequila for your margaritas.”

    Priorities.

Those are just the latest types of spin on the illegal immigration crisis that Democratic politicians and many journalists denied earlier even existed.

Yet the president’s tough stand has produced results.

The Washington Post reported progress Friday in a story headlined “Threatened by Trump, exhausted by caravans, Mexico withdraws red carpet.” The article said Mexico is taking action to keep Central American migrants from traveling through the nation and into the U.S.

“Worried by the growing traffic, (Mexican) security officials are considering a plan to effectively bottle up many migrants in the southern part of the country,” the Post reported. “Authorities have also agreed to a Trump administration request to keep migrants in Mexico as they seek U.S. asylum, a process that can take months or years.”

CNN put its own spin on the news, noting that “the apprehension rate (of migrants) in Mexico did see a recent increase over the first two days of April.” Of course, CNN qualified it with the phrase “while CNN could not verify Trump’s claims of the last two days.” But the network’s “Cuomo Prime Time” admitted the situation had become a “crisis.”

Suddenly, “crisis” became a word journalists were willing to use – from lefty Mother Jones to the major networks. The New York Times admitted the border was in “crisis,” but fixated on how goods crossing from Mexico had been slowed. The reason was that the Trump administration reassigned 750 border agents to handle “the surge in migrants who have been crossing the border illegally and seeking asylum.”

In other words, sending agents to address the problem was Trump’s fault. Not the fault of those flooding the border.”

“Media Jumps On Debunked Lie: No, Trump Did *Not* Call Asylum Seekers “Animals”

Is American journalism facing an existential crisis?”

“There they go again. The Democrat media just can’t seem to help themselves when it comes to President Trump. Too many this weekend jumped on a #FakeNews story that was debunked a year ago about Trump calling illegal aliens and asylum seekers “animals.”

Stacey wrote about Democrat and 2020 presidential hopeful Robert “Beto” O’Rourke’s casual lie about Trump calling all illegal aliens “animals.” The president, of course, said no such thing and was clearly referring to the violent criminal gang MS-13.

    Stacey wrote:

Trump did not describe asylum seekers as rapists, criminals, animals. He was talking about murderous gangs like MS-13. Here’s what he actually said in May 2018 (bolded emphasis added for context):

[Fresno County] Sheriff Margaret Mims: Thank you. There could be an MS-13 member I know about — if they don’t reach a certain threshold, I cannot tell ICE about it.

The President: We have people coming into the country, or trying to come in — and we’re stopping a lot of them — but we’re taking people out of the country. You wouldn’t believe how bad these people are. These aren’t people. These are animals. And we’re taking them out of the country at a level and at a rate that’s never happened before. And because of the weak laws, they come in fast, we get them, we release them, we get them again, we bring them out. It’s crazy.

    And in July 2017:

Trump’s visit to a [New York] county racked by violence attributed to the [MS-13] gang — 17 murders over 18 months, according to local police — aimed to give “power and poignancy” to his message that lawmakers must do more to combat illegal immigration” a White House aide told reporters in a briefing.

In stark language, Trump said MS-13 members have stabbed, raped and murdered young people and “transformed peaceful parks and beautiful quiet neighborhoods into bloodstained killing fields.” He added: “They’re animals. We cannot tolerate as a society the spilling of innocent, young, wonderful, vibrant people.”

The AP had to retract its mischaracterization of Trump’s comments last year (when the lie was first debunked).”

“Democrat-Media strategy to take down Trump shifting from Mueller Investigation to Tax Returns

“that’s going to be a stunning silver bullet document””

    ————————

“Democrats and their friends in the media have spent over two years pushing the Russian collusion narrative.

Now that the Mueller investigation is over and the Russia conspiracy is falling apart, they are already moving on to their next line of attack: Trump’s tax returns.

Nicholas Fandos reports at the New York Times:

House Democrat Demands Six Years of Trump Tax Returns From I.R.S.

The chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, using a little-known provision in the federal tax code, formally requested on Wednesday that the I.R.S. hand over six years of President Trump’s personal and business tax returns, starting what is likely to be a momentous fight with his administration.

Representative Richard E. Neal, Democrat of Massachusetts, hand-delivered a two-page letter laying out the request to Charles P. Rettig, the Internal Revenue Service commissioner, ending months of speculation about when he would do so and almost certainly prompting a legal challenge from the Trump administration.

Responding to questions from reporters in the Oval Office, Mr. Trump suggested that he would fight the request because, he said, he was being audited.

The usual suspects are already all over this. This week, Donny Deutsch, of MSNBC’s Morning Joe, said people should forget about the Mueller report because Trump’s tax returns are the real “silver bullet.””

  8. Just a reminder of one of the good men they destroyed with their lies and set-up the last time around.

    https://thefederalist.com/2019/04/08/obama-holdover-sally-yates-helped-sink-michael-flynn/

“How Obama Holdover Sally Yates Helped Sink Michael Flynn

Sally Yates’ Justice Department had no legitimate reason to believe Michael Flynn was either compromised or susceptible to compromise, yet they carried on as if it were so.”

    —————-

“Flynn is a complicated man, with some questionable judgement in business dealings after he retired from military service. His consulting engagements with Turkey and other foreign entities, while not illegal, required Foreign Agents Registration Act and other notifications that he apparently failed to complete in a timely manner. While he seems to dispute the charge, he has nonetheless pled guilty to lying to the FBI about his conversation with Kislyak. All of this suggests he was certainly susceptible to occasional lapses in judgement, worthy of whatever penalty and punishment may come his way.

What it does not suggest, by any stretch of the imagination, is that this retired lieutenant general with 33 years of distinguished service to his country, including multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, directorship of the Defense Intelligence Agency, and numerous national-level intelligence leadership positions—a highly decorated and admired military intelligence professional—would be willing to commit treason against the country he had dedicated his life to serving in order to keep the Russians from telling the world he asked their ambassador to hold off on taking adverse action against the United States until the Trump administration had a chance to weigh in.

It is, quite literally, a notion worthy of ridicule. Yet, for some reason, Yates chose to run to the White House and get it on the record that she believed Flynn to be in imminent danger of becoming a compromised national security liability, despite being fully aware that such compromise was impossible. The very fact that she was having that conversation with McGahn eliminated the clandestine element necessary for a compromise. Everybody knew.”

She lied, and she knew she was. And Obama knew too, because he orchestrated all of it.

  9. Oh look, more questionable and criminal actions by Ohr, Fusion, and the FBI. And more proof they lied to the FISA court.

Once again, so thankful that Nunes has the guts and common decency to not allow this to stand.

    https://thefederalist.com/2019/04/08/nellie-ohrs-research-used-fisa-applications-surveil-trump-campaign/

“Was Nellie Ohr’s Research Used In FISA Applications To Surveil The Trump Campaign?

Recently released transcripts of congressional testimony now raise the specter that the FBI also used Nellie Ohr’s opposition research in the FISA applications.”

“Last year, Rep. Devin Nunes exposed the Department of Justice’s use of the Hillary Clinton-funded Christopher Steele dossier to obtain orders to surveil former Trump campaign foreign policy advisor Carter Page. Recently released transcripts of congressional testimony now raise the specter that the FBI also used Nellie Ohr’s opposition research in the FISA applications.

Over the last month, Georgia Republican Doug Collins, the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, has released a series of transcripts, including that of Department of Justice lawyer Bruce Ohr and his wife Nellie Ohr. In his congressional testimony, Bruce confirmed that he and his wife met with former MI6 spy Steele on July 30, 2016, and that during that breakfast meeting Steele shared his initial research on supposed connections between Trump and Russia. Bruce said within days he passed Steele’s information to the FBI’s then-deputy director Andrew McCabe, and that after the FBI terminated Steele as a source, Steele continued to feed Bruce information he relayed to the FBI.”

    ———————-

“However, immediately preceding the discussion of Steele’s “intel,” the FISA application stated that “[a]ccording to open source information, in July 2016, Page traveled to Russia and delivered the commencement address at the New Economic School.” This claim mirrors Nellie’s testimony of her open source research, leading one to wonder whether the FBI relied on Nellie’s Democratic-funded opposition research in crafting the FISA application.

It is impossible to tell from the FISA application because the footnote related to that passage is entirely redacted—even though it came from “open source information!” Why? What lies beneath the redaction? And what other details included in the FISA applications might have their genesis in the reports Nellie complied for Clinton and the DNC?

Further, even if the FBI did not rely on Nellie’s research, the fact that publicly available information revealed Page’s trip to Moscow underscores the deficiencies in the FISA applications. The FISA applications relied extensively on Steele’s unverified dossier, including hearsay from sub-sources of unknown reliability.

Also, while there was no corroboration of the sub-sources’ tips regarding Page’s purported criminal conduct, the FISA applications sought to strengthen the believability of the unverified claims by highlighting Page’s presence in Moscow at the time of his supposed meeting with Putin’s associations. Yet such open source information cannot legally corroborate an informant’s tip. The DOJ and FBI knew this, but then again, they also knew better than presenting the unverified Steele dossier to the FISA court.

Americans concerned with the rule of law and the abuse of power running rampant during the Russia collusion investigation have long condemned the government for relying on the Steele dossier. Now they must ask themselves whether Nellie Ohr’s research also paved the way for the government to spy on Page.”
