Prayer Requests 4-4-19

It’s Thursday, so don’t forget to pray for Jo, her students, and the people of PNG.

Anyone else?

Psalm 61

Hear my cry, O God;
    listen to my prayer.

From the ends of the earth I call to you,
    I call as my heart grows faint;
    lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
For you have been my refuge,
    a strong tower against the foe.

I long to dwell in your tent forever
    and take refuge in the shelter of your wings.
For you, God, have heard my vows;
    you have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.

Increase the days of the king’s life,
    his years for many generations.
May he be enthroned in God’s presence forever;
    appoint your love and faithfulness to protect him.

Then I will ever sing in praise of your name
    and fulfill my vows day after day.

  1. Wisdom and patience as we try to get daughter safely to her psychiatrist this afternoon. She does not like the woman. The woman calls her on her stuff. She is also the only one around for children and works out of Boise, coming up here every six weeks or so. Anyway, we spent hours yesterday with daughter throwing the dead owl and mouse at me or the window as well as cans and boards and such. Patience. Wisdom.

  2. A’s rash is no better, no return call from dermatologist and today she had a flat tire and thus missed the 9:30 feeding. Craziness. She’ll call the dermatologist this afternoon.

  3. Made it safely through the Psych meeting. Meds are adjusted and she is in agreement that daughter does not need the driver who has been picking her up for OUI. Lots of better drivers out there. This one has mental issues that feed daughter’s challenges. Hoping that will be resolved.

  4. Catching up with the March posts I missed:

    Kathaleena, I’m sorry to hear of your husband’s cancer diagnosis. Praying for both you and Ralph. Lord’s peace to you.

    Prayers for many of you on the blog, as you come to mind.

    I need prayers for wisdom. My youngest let something slip today, which has made me aware now that her father is using her as a pawn in a covert attempt to violate boundaries I previously established. Thank you for praying.

  5. Sorry to hear about that, 6 Arrows. That must be so disappointing. Praying for a good resolution.

    (I recognize you from what you’ve written. 🙂 )
