It’s Friday, so please remember to pray for Mumsee, Mike, and the Nestlings.
Anyone else?
Psalm 123
1 I lift up my eyes to you,
to you who sit enthroned in heaven.
2 As the eyes of slaves look to the hand of their master,
as the eyes of a female slave look to the hand of her mistress,
so our eyes look to the Lord our God,
till he shows us his mercy.
3 Have mercy on us, Lord, have mercy on us,
for we have endured no end of contempt.
4 We have endured no end
of ridicule from the arrogant,
of contempt from the proud.
Please remember our friend’s daughter, Monica. She is holding onto life, but her dad doesn’t know how. She is so weak. Her son is here from out of state. Pray for God’s peace and guidance for her and for whatever each member of her family needs during this difficult time. Pray for strength for her father’s girlfriend. Though this relationship is relatively new, she and Monica have bonded in a special way and Monica has been lovingly helped by this woman in the most intimate way.

Praising God that Art is getting relief after so long of feeling pain and not feeling well. He does seem weakened and pail but finally going in the right direction. Please pray for good travels. Thank you.

This cold and coughing have interfered with my sleep the last few nights. I am feeling achy, tired, and worn out, but have one more night of childsitting tonight (three nights in a row). Yesterday was tough. I feel even more tired and achy today.
Please pray for me to have patience with The Boy and for him to be cooperative, and for me to sleep better tonight. Thank you.
(His father will be picking him up at 2:00, and having him for a few hours, which helps, but that still leaves me with the “hard part” of the evening – getting him to settle down to go to sleep.)

The Mother’s Almanac said that sometimes when mom is sick she just needs to tell the kids and turn on the TV. The few times I did that, even when they were little, the kids rose to the occasion and took care of ME.
If I were you, Kizzie, I’d try that line . . .

Monica has passed away. It is a blessing, but the grief will be difficult for so many.
