Prayer Requests 11-15-18

It’s Thursday, so don’t forget to pray for Jo, her students, and the people of PNG.

Anyone else?

Psalm 99

The Lord reigns,
    let the nations tremble;
   he sits enthroned between the cherubim,
    let the earth shake.
Great is the Lord in Zion;
    he is exalted over all the nations.
Let them praise your great and awesome name—
    he is holy.

The King is mighty, he loves justice—
    you have established equity;
   in Jacob you have done
    what is just and right.
Exalt the Lord our God
    and worship at his footstool;
    he is holy.

Moses and Aaron were among his priests,
    Samuel was among those who called on his name;
   they called on the Lord
    and he answered them.
He spoke to them from the pillar of cloud;
    they kept his statutes and the decrees he gave them.

Lord our God,
    you answered them;
   you were to Israel a forgiving God,
    though you punished their misdeeds.
Exalt the Lord our God
    and worship at his holy mountain,
    for the Lord our God is holy.

  1. Son has been coming home at a reasonable time lately, even while we are still awake. I don’t know why unless, once again, he has burned bridges with friends or their families. Husband is off for a couple of weeks and then for his infusion over the next three weeks. Son came home surly last night though he just went for a walk. After riding his bike five miles. Anyway, wisdom and that God would make Himself Lord of son’s life.

  2. Today is a holiday for APEC, Asia Pacific Economic Council. Pray for this nation as it hosts this summit. Port Moresby is not safe and the nation cannot afford this. But, God can use it for good.

  3. My friend Renee’s daughter, whom I mentioned recently, has lost her baby. Please pray that God would draw her close to Him and comfort her, and that she will be willing to try again. (The last part was a request from her mother.)
