Prayer Requests 9-5-18

It’s Wednesday, so don’t forget Ajisuun and The Gambia.

Anyone else?

Psalm 26

Vindicate me, Lord,
    for I have led a blameless life;
   I have trusted in the Lord
    and have not faltered.
Test me, Lord, and try me,
    examine my heart and my mind;
for I have always been mindful of your unfailing love
    and have lived in reliance on your faithfulness.

I do not sit with the deceitful,
    nor do I associate with hypocrites.
I abhor the assembly of evildoers
    and refuse to sit with the wicked.
I wash my hands in innocence,
    and go about your altar, Lord,
proclaiming aloud your praise
    and telling of all your wonderful deeds.

Lord, I love the house where you live,
    the place where your glory dwells.
Do not take away my soul along with sinners,
    my life with those who are bloodthirsty,
10 in whose hands are wicked schemes,
    whose right hands are full of bribes.
11 I lead a blameless life;
    deliver me and be merciful to me.

12 My feet stand on level ground;
    in the great congregation I will praise the Lord.

  1. It is my grandson Noah’s second day in Marine boot camp. He has long wanted to be there. He was nervous, but excited. He’s got our prayers, but could surely use more to do all he needs to do.

Michelle…praying for you…and as I was this verse came to my heart “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”…may you find your strength in Him especially this day dear sister…. 💕

  3. At the advice of a nurse friend, I’m trying to get in to see a dermatologist for my knee “quicker” by seeing a nurse practitioner in their office . . . and I can get an appointment the last week in November. That is farther in the future than the injury was in the past and is not an acceptable answer. It also is into winter, and by that time I won’t be able to be wearing shorts around town to keep from constant rubbing of the wound.

    Please pray that I will somehow be able to get into a specialist sooner rather than later. I’m past the point of “try this . . . try this.” (I had an allergic reaction to what the general practitioner said to use, and prescriptions from last month didn’t bring healing, and aloe vera isn’t really doing anything . . . )
