It’s Friday, so please remember to pray for Mumsee, Mike, and the Nestlings.
Anyone else?
Psalm 147:1-7
1 Praise the Lord.
How good it is to sing praises to our God,
how pleasant and fitting to praise him!
2 The Lord builds up Jerusalem;
he gathers the exiles of Israel.
3 He heals the brokenhearted
and binds up their wounds.
4 He determines the number of the stars
and calls them each by name.
5 Great is our Lord and mighty in power;
his understanding has no limit.
6 The Lord sustains the humble
but casts the wicked to the ground.
7 Sing to the Lord with grateful praise;
make music to our God on the harp.
My Aunt Janet, my dad’s older sister, died recently at age 91. Her husband (Uncle Billy), now a widower, is 94, and they were married for 73 years. (He is the one I mentioned around Memorial Day being honored as a WWII vet by having some work done in and around his house by a group that does that for WWII veterans.) They got married soon after he returned from the war.
Please pray for Uncle Billy as he grieves his beloved wife of so many years, and for their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was beloved of so many for her sweet, bubbly personality.

How could I forget Aunt Barbara!
Aunt Barbara is Aunt Janet’s and my dad’s younger sister, who has battled Multiple Sclerosis for about 40 years. Although she is ten years younger than Aunt Janet, the two became very close, especially as adults. She is going to miss her older sister immensely.
