I’m staying home sick again but I think I can rule out bronchitis as now it’s moved to my head & sinuses — so must just be a bad cold. Odd, usually colds move from the head to the chest but this is the 2nd time I remember it making the opposite trip through my body. I have a headache, am completely stuffed up, ears plugged and can’t breathe too well — and I’ve had a couple scary sneezes that scared the dogs. Still coughing but that part seems to be getting a bit better (though now my muscles are sore from all the coughing I did through the weekend).
Anyway, my aim is to get back to work tomorrow so prayers that this part of it moves through quickly.

I’m here with (1) a follow-up and (2) a request:
1. Mother-in-law was released from the hospital yesterday. Thank you for your prayers.
2. Requesting prayers for wisdom. More people recently have been looking for in-home piano lessons. I have been turning those requests down, unlike when I was a college student [read: without a husband and children] and traveled to teach at some of my students’ homes. But another request came today, for anywhere from 1-4 students (a 5-year-old boy, and possibly his parents and a 5-year-old friend of the boy’s). It may be worth my while to travel if I can get a group of individuals on one specific day, with staggered lesson times.
There are many factors besides that to consider, and I’d appreciate prayers for discernment as I weigh the options before me. I want to be in God’s will on this. Is this His way of giving me students before my current student leaves for college in six months? Or do I need to stick to my, “Sorry, I don’t give in-home lessons” answer, and wait for more who are willing to come to me?
